no. taking care of people usually means stripping someone of rights, and introduces all kinds of unintended consequences.

Yes, they were mostly true. If the government doesn't just keep the money it has taken from SS, but stands behind its obligation and pays it back, then the statements are totally true.

You might have to start eating dog food. I hear Republicans are investing in dog food factories for you seniors. I'm thinking of opening a can opener manufacturing company; in China of course.
