Sarah Palin: Is she spinning her record in Alaska politics?

And some one tries to change the topic by post 5. When you can't counter the topic, divert!

Oh yeah, back on topic... Thanks.

I think Palin probably does spin. She is a politician of course. The other possibility is that she just doesn't understand the question... ya know those big gotta questions... and is just throwing out words and catch phrases because she has to say something.

It's sad that one has to hope for a bigger loser so that thier loser wins... This is not the American way.

It is the American way... and if you voted for McCain, it's also your way.

yes, on one hand one group wants to pit themselves against the best, in the latter, one loser hopes the other is a bigger loser. :lamo

If nobody did this, and this wasn't a popular tacit we wouldn't have an concept of a strawman, poisoning the well, etc.... Our political system is NOT designed so we believe best man wins and everybody shows respect for the winner. We don't see the contenders shake hands and say, "I know you love this country as much as me. I hope we can work to improve it together."

It's mud slinging, swift boating, slandering, libeling, and pandering to the fearful... Politics is dirty, and people outright show disrepect to each other. On top of that, politicians often repeat lies over and over again. You turn on McCain he says Obama says, Obama says no he didn't say that but McCain says, and McCain says he didn't say that. Fact checkers say they are both telling white lies and outright lies. Both sides do that ****, and you even do it yourself on these boards.... lol

The undercurrent of the tea party is what America is about.'you strip away the coopting by republicans the pinning the movement on palin and you are left with.

Lower taxes
SmallermGovernment
More accountable reps.

Who would be against this? This is the foundation that far left and thier ilk like you want to destroy in the name of statism.

Nobody is really against that, but the TP is nuts. I would never join it, and it isn't about moderates with simple ideas. It's mostly all republicans who are super far right and want big government in our personal lives, but small government for big business.

apdst adds incoherent babbling to the thread. Good lord. You're like one of those little kids who has not a clue as to what they're discussing but just needs to say something so that somebody will pay attention to them.

la la la la....

And when they do concede gracefully, we don't believe it because they were so poisonous in their campaigning.

Well, the is the argument many Convervatives tried to paint when McCain lost. He's a Moderate-Republican. As such, many people started complaining that the reason they didn't vote for him (if at all) was because:

1) McCain wasn't Conservative enough; and,

2) Obama was the lessor of two evils.

I'm not saying I buy the latter as opposed to the former, but that was the chatter immediately following the 2008 Presidential election.

I thought McCain was ok, until he got Palin on board. I know an anarchist, and he doesn't believe in voting... but when McCain grabbed her, he voted for Obama. lol. He said he couldn't handle the thought of her being in the white house. He is also Jewish, and she pissed him off with her pandering to Jewish Americans and blabbering on about the Israeli flag.
