That is the way the system works. On the other hand, the public has every right to scream for the resignation of any politician they believe is not acting as they should conduct themselves in office. I believe Anthony Wiener could tell you something about that.

And your position on Wiener resigning before any trial or conviction or even the allegation of a crime was what again?????

If she threw a punch, it's different story. He has the right to defend himself.

If, however, Prosser just escalated one of his fairly public tirades against the women court members to a physical altercation, he needs to be permanently removed from the premises of the Wisconsin Supreme Court and provided with a new office, preferably one with bars. This would be proof that his actions warrant securing him from harming other people.

I suspect the right here will advocate that Prosser stay on the court until he is tried and convicted and he has completely and utterly exhausted every single line of appeal he can come up with during the balance of his term. Anything to keep a warrior on the battlefield.

What does he think?

I was selected to help a high ranking officer prepare for nuclear warfighting exercises. I was selected based upon my knowledge and my ability to develop excellent training scenarios. But I did not consider myself as someone in that high ranking officer's circle.

As a high ranking guy in the State department it certainly makes sense for him to be on the team preparing Bush for debates and to support him in the early years.

Well, that is how the system works, as you say. Innocent, until proven guilty? Or does that not apply to Conservatives that you hate?

It doesn't surprise me that civil rights are selective with the Libbos.

It doesn't really make a **** if Armitage is, or isn't tied to the Bush administration. The whole point is, Richard Armitage outted Valerie Plame and not Dick Cheney.

it's turned out to be a he-said-she-said thing; nobody apparently has any evidence one way or the other. The matter has been turned over to the investigative service responsible for handling judges. We'll see what comes of it.

The case has been handed over to a new agency (sheriff's dept). They will now begin their investigation. Will just have to see what transpires.

The fact that there were 3-4 State Supreme Court judges standing witness to the original event several week ago and no charges have been filed to date is telling. Would be surprised if assault charges surfaced at this point.

My take/suspicion is that 2 crotchety old knucklehead judges got in each others faces during a heated arguement and just got tangled up. From what we are reading about the characters in this drama, am thinking he really is a jackass, and maybe she really is a bitch.
