NO.

He gave NO quarter, allowed NO qualifications. ALL drug users are weak scum. I'm pretty sure he advocated the death penalty for pot smokers.

Had he opened his yap once to say maybe he had been wrong, that maybe he'd been too harsh, modified his attitude out of some semblance of humility, then jabs at him for his addiction would be inappropriate.

According to him he should still be locked up.

People who tell others not to do things should be dealt with FAR more harshly when caught doing those very things than those who mind their own business.

And on-topic, if he is using American ingredients, and he is ACTUALLY donating a significant portion of the profits to vets, then good for him.

And I was unaware they were growing tea in the US. Now I want to try some! I do choose American made when quality is comparable and the differential isn't too high.

I think voting with your dollars is good for both democracy and capitalistism. I will pay a good bit more for products/services that I "approve" of, to encourage their makers/providers to continue to do so.

He included those addicted to prescription drugs in his diatribes against drug users.

No humility afterwards. THAT'S what earns him my permanent disrespect. That and the fact his anti-drug vitriol just helps keep this country dragging the failed drug war around like a sign around our necks saying,

"Look how stupid we are."

You can find unsweetened tea?

I brew my own mostly but occassionally have stopped to look for unsweetened and all I find is sweet, lemon, raspberry, and peach. I just want tea and no sugar or any artificial flavorings.

I think reveals many of the lies of the democrats and the liberal media. He for the most psrt gives sources he uses to get the facts on things.

Am not defending Weiner at all. Just saying he will fall into one of two categories of deflecting personal responsibility. (1) my wife doesn't understand me (2) I need to get some rehab for a medical problem I have.

Limbaugh is another one who likes to use medical excuses for obtaining illegal drugs and avoiding the draft.

Am not defending either one of these blowhards. Are you?

He abused drugs after saying all sorts of terrible things about drug users.

But personally, I don't care about his drug problems. People fall into that for all sorts of reasons, an addiction is a powerful thing and I would never condemn someone for something have so little control over.

I dislike Rush because he presents an absurd interpretation of reality to his audience and, due to confirmation bias, it feeds their pre-determined opinion that all liberals are evil and hateful and want to destroy America, etc. It's the same schtick as the rest of them. It's not so much that these guys lie to you, it's that they present truth to you covered in a ridiculous interpretation that only fits if you already started with a rabidly partisan point of prejudgment.

No, he just parrots the lies of the Republicans. He would have you believe that there's Liberal lies and his truth, but the fact is that it's all lies Left and Right.

Yers I will defend Rush since I have had back surgery and know what kind of pain there is. The attacks on Rush are just hate speech and character assassination by the left
