Edit: Basic overview - The school serves teen mothers, teaching them life skills and pushes to have every student graduate and move onto college. The school has been wildly successful, with a 90 percent high school graduation rate, and most go to college. The emergency manager for public schools in Michigan (see http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-20042299-503544.html for more details ) has slated the school to close because its "too expensive"

I wonder how much the teachers are getting paid. Plus their bonuses. Either way I would like to have it stay open. This is all because of crappy parenting.

I don't understand why a state would close a school down that actually works and is keeping girls, many of whom have children, from going directly on welfare.
