Did Rep. Weiner think that by his denial (true or untrue) that his shenanigans prior to the twitter incident - if there were prior shenanigans - wouldn't be dug up? Poo-poo the source all you want - but the photo's came from somewhere. I think it's safe to say Weiner thinks very highly of himself physically as he's taking these photo's of himself which I don't think is in dispute.

Is this the hacker again or is the narrative that this is some "Vast Rightwing Conspiriacy"?

Weiner is blubbering on TV right now finally taking responsibility for tweeting his "weiner" and it looks like the shirtless pictures.

But - he's not going to do the dignified thing and resign... we'll see how long that lasts.
 
It sounded at first like he was crying...now he's starting to sound a bit angry at the questioning.
 
I dont want him to resign. Hell...keeping him around will be comedy gold. I hope he has a good therapist on staff.

Nah...instead...he should be forced to do the most embarrassing and humiliating thing imaginable. He should have to go before the world and publicly apologize to Andrew Breitbart for all the lies he told from the get go.

I don't see why he should resign if he hasn't done anything illegal or against House rules.

And, yes, before you ask I believe the same thing with regards to Republican Congressmen too.

Did Vitter do numerous national interviews and news conferences where he lied about it? if so, then he should have resigned.

Actually, I hope that Weiner, the arrogant asshole, holds onto his seat. Everytime he shows up in public he will be a joke line. The good citizens of the USA need something to laugh at, don't they? :lamo

There's an old saying Petey --- those in glass houses should not throw stones. Weiner's weiner got him in trouble because he couldn't be a man and admit his juvenile behavior. He had to create this fiction of a "hacker", of which he did not follow up, denied everything and had his little minions at Media Matters and Daily Kos create bigger fictions to cover it all up. If he had any self respect - he'd resign and stop distracting from the serious issues we have in this country.

Did he lie there? I don't know and since I don't care I didn't watch it. I already said if he is a Repub and he lied, he should have resigned.

Demos have proven time and again they do not care if their politicians are untruthful or immoral.

It would also be nice to have as part of the human race to be able to absorb the radiation of our yellow sun to grant us flight, physical invulnerability, super strength, the ability to survive in the vacuum of space, and heat ray vision.
