I didn't realize that McCain moonlights as a comedian.

John McCain: Sarah Palin Can Beat Obama In 2012

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) suggested on Sunday morning that former Alaska governor Sarah Palin could defeat President Barack Obama should she run as the Republican presidential nominee in 2012.

"Of course she can," said the Arizona senator of Palin's chances in the hypothetical match-up on "Fox News Sunday." He added, however, that he doesn't know whether his 2008 running mate will ultimately decide to make a run for the White House.

Well, a monkey promising free cigarettes to children could beat Obama right now.

Two minutes after leaving the studio McCain walked up to a tree and said, "Three for dinner, please." It then took a few minutes for his handlers to convince him that "dinner" plans had changed. McCain finally agreed to walk to the car where he insisted on sitting in the front seat backwards while singing "We All Live in a Yellow Submarine". The car moved away quickly while McCain licked the window.

Palin can't defeat Obama. Let's be realistic.

Good thing I didn't have a mouthful of drink reading that.

Obama has a record now, one he can't run from, but will try to with assistance from his journ-O-list buddies.

Palin espouses Conservatism unabashedly, and when someone does that in a national race, especially against a dodo... they kick ass.

.

McCain made a funny joke!

Palin is always ridiculed, her ideas are never addressed. Due to PC, Obama cannot be ridiculed publicly and only his ideas and policies can be addressed. Which do you think is better for the people in the country as a whole?

What ideas?

In all seriousness what ideas?

I am sure that people would be more than happy to ridicule here ideas as well.

She's the Paris Hilton of politics. She's famous for being famous and not having worked in DC.

I am quite open to having my mind changed. I just haven't seen anything that would prompt me to do so. I am not willing to look on my own because I think the return on that investment of time would be too low. However, I am willing to see what someone else finds and presents.

Let us hope that the GOP take their 2008 presidential nominee as a great prophet and listen to his every word.

in Texas, perhpas, but Texas doesn't run the country, not since the Bush clan got replaced...

Winston and DemSocialist have bought into their own bull.

EVERY politician has ideas and policy stances. It doesnt matter what they do, if they are on a statewide or national level they had policy issues and ideas.

This is a primer and should be a starting point for any politician, left or right.
Sarah Palin on the Issues

You two are largely buying the media portrayal and letting it override your common sense that someone that ran a state and fought corruption even within her own party could be a governor and leader and have absolutely no ideas.

That position is intellectually and morally bankrupt and you both know it.

I could just be like "ohh your buying into the Sarah Palin bull" but then if i said that, that would get us no place.

EVERY politician has ideas and policy stances.
No duh.

It doesnt matter what they do,
Actually it does matter. A LOT.

if they are on a statewide or national level they had policy issues and ideas.
No duh statement again.

This is a primer and should be a starting point for any politician, left or right.

Yea this is why i dont support Sarah Palin and really dont think she has a chance in hell of winning anything.

You two are largely buying the media portrayal
I dont watch much US corporate ran news...

and letting it override your common sense
I really wish Sarah Palin had common sense. But politics really isnt common sense all the time you do realize this right...

that someone that ran a state and fought corruption even within her own party could be a governor and leader and have absolutely no ideas.
:applaud

That position is intellectually and morally bankrupt and you both know it.
Sarcasm...

I do wish Palin would go up for 2012.
What a great circus and entertaiment it would be

Okay, one of you two is NOT necessary. :p

Two of some things are not necessary, but a lot of fun.....
Perspective, young padowan, perspective....;)

There are two scenarios whereby I vote for Obama. One is a hot threeway with 2 females Obama supporters who buy my vote. The other is Palin being the Republican nominee.

In all seriousness, I do not hate or have any vitriol towards the woman. I think she is a good person, and at her heart a passionate American. But that doesn't necessarily lend itself to being a good leader. She's too idealistic (like Obama was during his campaign). At least Obama has become more pragmatic during his tenure as President. I suppose one could hope for the same with her, but I don't care for rolling the dice two times in a row with a very green and not long tenured politician.

Sarah Palin represents everything that the GOP has become today. She is the voice of the Republican party and deserves the nomination.

What bull?

Thats a really fine attempt to parse a post and pick it apart using no facts and loads of sarcasm. Now try it again and use some fact based arguments instead of snark.

Your position is that Palin has no positions and I provide you with the positions. Your response is to move the goal posts and ridicule the post.

How about you provide exactly which positions you dont like. Or keep acting like a yutz. Your call.

Well honestly your post seemed not be thought out very well at all and stated obvious things like "EVERY politician has ideas and policy stances." which is obvious so i just put as much time as you put in your post as i did in mine.

Now try it again and use some fact based arguments instead of snark.
You used pretty basic facts.. I used pretty basic facts and responded to your post.

Your position is that Palin has no positions and I provide you with the positions.
No duh she has postitons. Ever heard of sarcasm? I think her positions are idiotic, she is a terrible public speaker, and pretty nutty and loony if you ask me.

Your response is to move the goal posts and ridicule the post.
Well your post sucked no offense.

How about you provide exactly which positions you dont like.
Tax breaks, war monger, private healthcare, abortion stance, her stance on sex education, same sex marriage, stance of keeping mariguana illegal, stance on global warming. Would you like more?

Or keep acting like a yutz. Your call.
Good one. Very funny.
