Ok DemSoc, lets recap. You say she has no positions. Then you move the goalposts and say the positions suck, then you simplify them into stereotypes that you can demagogue without actually articulating them with any substance or rebutting them with any substance either. And you say my posts suck? Right back atcha skippy.

I think before you mention that my posts arent well thought out, you toss a little more thought into your own and make a point instead of using a half assed flame as a posting technique.

Now then if you want to critique Palin why dont you try some substantial, thought out dissing of her policy positions. I really dont think you want to, because dismissing her without using your head to do so seems to be what you have become accustomed to.

Palin = cheer leader. She may have positions, but I doubt she can actually back them up outside of the talking points. But this doesn't matter. Its not in Palin's best interest to run. She'd stop making money and ensure the repubs defeat to Obama. She knows this, all the repubs know this.

The only person who had a chance to beat Obama was Daniels.

Thats not particularly been my point. My point is that Palin is maligned for a lack of ideas and policy when that clearly isnt correct. The media meme was that she had no ideas and because a multitude on the left dont like her policy positions they pushed the meme that she had no ideas.

Palin has been involved in a variety of issues since the 08 election and has inevitably pushed the debate towards her viewpoint quite a few times, usually to the detriment of the current administration.

So gross exaggerations regarding Palin tend to annoy me, if you dont like her policy positions, say so, using the she has no ideas meme is just being as stupid and vacuous as you would have people believe she is.

I looked at her website and there were really no policy positions I could find.

There is this but these are pretty one liners compiled by this website.

No viable politician can make the presidential nomination without the media's support.

The media hasn't shown to have much respect for Palin, but they won't turn their back on a cash cow that attracts a sizable enough population that satisfies there advertising base.

Money is money to our now dominate tabloid pushers who will squeeze the last dollar possible out of Palin's fadish appeal.

Palin can't overcome her lack of presidential qualities.

Well you havent really outlined one yet. Just went for the easy ridicule route. No debate, just weak flame material.

I havent flipped out at all, I just believe you think your posts are clever snark when they dont do anything but parse meaninglessly and dont really say anything.

Again if you are going to say posts need to be thoughtful, maybe you should get the ball rolling on your own and stop posting drivel.

The GOP is just throwing out chum, baiting the waters to see what might show up. So far, only the more gullible fish are attracted to the bait.
The real bait, the one with the hook in it, hasn't been used yet.
I predict that NONE of the ones who have run before will win the nomination...
