i seriously don't believe she's that stupid. she can't win, and i think she knows that. but i really, really, hope i'm wrong.
 
You really have to give credit to right wing extremists. They are loyal subjects that will defend one of their own to the death, no matter what they did. I find it hard to believe anyone still worships Palin, but they do.

You think political operatives wait till the last minute to get strarted on bashing campaigns? The left has been beating up on Palin for years now with only marginal success; so why is this guy coming out with this book? It's not like Palin did anything illegal. This is all purely political.

I see hypocrisy here. You don't like Palin, but have real issues with the fact that she didn't finish her term. What do you care? It's those on the right that should care, but you, it's just playing politics.

In your opinion, she's not important. But she has gotten candidates elected, which is more than Obama can say. She serves a purpose, albeit not one you are thinking of. She's plenty important, and the people in the know in your party are doing everything they can to damage her. Maybe you need to pay attention to what your party is doing before judging Palin.

She had an obligation. It doesn't matter who she is or how much I like or dislike her. She took an oath, and she didn't honor it. That just means that whatever little respect I may have had for her (none) dropped another 18 points.

I can't imagine sitting down to read a whole book about Sarah whats-her-face. This could just be a ploy of her's to get back into the public eye. Either way, I'm so not interested.

yes, people pay attention to her.......idiots, imo. i believe the serious (electable) republican candidates will want NOTHING to do with her.

"This book is littered with her words -- and we took nothing out of context," co-author Ken Morris, a Marin County resident and self-described progressive, told Comrade Marinucci and I Monday.

"There were so many more shocking revelations that Frank wasn't comfortable putting in,so we didn't. He wanted to tell the story about what was wrong as opposed to things about affairs and legitimacies and diet pills. Yes, he wants people to know what kind of person Sarah Palin is like, because that is important," Morris said.

Morris described Bailey as "a whistle-blower." And his story is intended to be a warning about unvetted politicians slipping through the process. "I'm really critical of how we're doing politics now."

"Sarah Palin becomes sort of symbolic of people like Donald Trump, or of anybody out there who we don't vet properly," Morris said. "It's just a searing indictment of (GOP presidential nominee) John McCain. We leave no doubt that there was zero vetting" of Palin prior to her becoming the Republican VP nominee in 2008.

I think it's hilarious and fun to watch the right wing extremists scramble to defend her and I couldn't care less if she finished her term.
 
Morris, who has published two thrillers since leaving Wall Street, said he hooked up with Bailey two years ago after writing several blogs challenging Palin to have dinner with him and other liberals to exchange viewpoints.

"I'm a progressive. There is no getting around that," Morris said. "I'm not going to pretend I agree with her political views."

Morris said he, Bailey and Jeanne Devon, who writes a widely read Alaska political blog, spent 18 months writing the book in secret. Morris said that while he was the lead writer who crafted the material into a story with a character arc, the story belongs to Bailey.
