Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 'threa

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

Hey... perhaps as an interesting exercise, I will quote post each and everyone of the hack posts on this thread. I bet there will be quite a few of you who will get upset when your hypocrisy is pointed out. Not that I care, since I enjoy pointing out hypocrisy.

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

What's unbelievable is that Cons NEVER ignore these things when it's a Conservative receiving the threats. For example, consider Sarah Palin's family.

So, apdst, as hard as it may be for you, do you want to drop the partisan hackery and look at this objectively? Yes? No?

Issues like this are never looked at objectively - for if they were, these issues would be predominately ignored. That's not to say sometimes, issues do belong front and center and should be discussed. There's enough hypocrisy on subjects like this to go around until the end of time.

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

What disturbs me about this whole thing is the partisanship in this very thread. Imagine what would happen if the roles were reversed and some teenager had challenged Pelosi to a debate? Liberals would be calling the teenager arrogant and claiming that conservatives faked the threats, and conservatives would be supporting the teenager, giving her credit for being involved, and would be attacking Pelosi. THIS is the problem with the country today. The most important thing to beat up the other guy... not do what's right.

Which is precisely the reason why I and many others have a hard time taking politics seriously nowadays.

There's a difference, though. There are some issues that are so outrageously OBVIOUS, that, to me, the only way you cannot look at it somewhat objectively, is by being nothing more than a partisan hack. This issue is one. It is clear that there is no way that Bachman should have ever debated this girl. And it is clear that it is pretty abhorant that people would be sending threats to the girl. These things trancend partisanship, and folks who cannot see that have no ability to be objective and should not be taken seriously on issues such as these. They demonstrate that "their side" is more important that "what's right".

Maybe they just think their side is what is right.

Care to show us a single post, or thread of mine that fits the description you just gave?

If you can't, might it be possible that you did nothing more than to lump me in with a group of people that you generally disagree with and that it goes against your principles?

Even if they do, it does not absolve or excuse them from hypocrisy.

The post that I quoted, apdst. Classic hack post. You and hazl are the biggest culprits in this thread.

No hack, just fact. Sorry you don't have anything else to harrass me about. Better luck in the future.

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

When I first came across this "challenge" by the 16-yo high school student in another thread somewhere in this forum, I thought it hilarious and yet refreshing that a high school student - any student! - was actually paying attention to our national politics. You can't blame the young lasse for calling the Congresswoman out. However, it is sad and rather pathetic that the young lady is being picked on now for stating the truth - that Congresswoman Bachman did, in fact, get her history wrong!

Whether Congresswoman Bachmann's gaffs "serve an injustice to not only the position of Congresswoman, but women everywhere" is true or not, you have to give the young lady props for atleast caring enough that women in politics come correct and represent their gender well.

Amy Myers, on behalf of young women everywhere who dare to get involved in the political arena no matter what level, I salute you!

Absolute hack with no facts... as usual.

Why? I've consistently hated Bachmann, Palin and people who support them.

I support any effort to point out how stupid they are.

How does that make me hacky?

I've always said that GOP party's intelligence is watered down by the Tea Bagger base.

I'm sure you understand the meaning of 'hack'. Anti-stupid does not make one a hack as it doesn't support one political side or the other.

hazl... I've confronted you already in this thread. Go read post #143. It's all there.

He said, as I post on another thread, defending Obama and getting beat up on by three Conservatives. :lamo

That's a lot of work...

But okay.

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

Come on, hazl. Try to look at this objectively. It would be like a professional boxer taking on a brand new amateur. If the pro beats him up, he looks like a bully and gains NOTHING. If the amateur gets a couple of good hits in, or somehow WINS, the pro loses ALL credibility, probably forever. Bachman, regardless of what you think of her, had zero reason to debate this girl. If I were her, I wouldn't have.

Like I said earlier in the thread... forgive me for not knowing the post #, but Bachmann could have made it a teaching moment.

Bachmann does talk out of her ass IMO. She doesn't know jack crap about the Constitution or the BoR. IMO.

She could have proved me and a lot of other people wrong by have a very fun and respectful debate with the girl...

And the fact that the girl is being attacked should anger super-mom Bachmann. She should come to the girls aide and say 'lay-off'.

How does any of that make me Hacky?

Your opinion of who's stupid is based on your hackishness (yes I'm making up that word), otherwise you'd be able to recognize stupid where it exists on the left as well.

I'm uninterested in what you do on other threads. In THIS thread, I have defined your behavior accurately.

Ok. I tried. You just don't get it.

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

Or maybe there's nothing to get...

Nope. Read what you wrote... and my response and try again. If you are honest and objective, you will see the problem. If not, you won't.

I’ll answer if you promise you will “call me out” more often.

How it makes you hacky is that there would be zero chance, regardless of the outcome of the debate, that you would admit that Bachmann knows the Constitution, used the debate as a teaching moment or any other positive for Bachmann that would result from it.

You hate Bachmann first and foremost so your expressions aren’t sincere or logical. That means you are a simple hack on the issue IMO.

I’m an equal opportunity offender and I hate hypocrisy.

You started this thread which is really the same thing as the thread we are in now.

The murder of an anti-abortion activist and now this. Could it be that violence is being incited by the very highest levels of our government?

Apples and oranges, my man.

Show us where I am being a hypocrite.
