Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 'threa

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

This is what happens with Impotent Rage. The Tea Party is angry, but lack the itellect to understand their anger is really projections of their own failings, bigotry, homophobia, etc.

Now they verbally rape an underage girl.

That how rapists are made, impotent rage.

I think you're the one projecting here.

It's people like you, who use phrases like "rape an underage girl" to describe threats having NOTHING to do with sex, that numb societies views of true rape victims crimes and makes them seem less "bad."

Good job.

How would you feel if it were your daughter?

A lot of these dumb tea bag hicks are probably used to having sex with their own daughter so it feels natural to verbally abuse another 16-year-old girl.

You do realize that these childish insults make you look really really bad, right?

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

The real story here is where is Bachmann.

I thought she was supposed to be Super-Mom.

Step up and defend the girl. The letter was intelligent and well-written.

Where is Bachmann??

Where is the so-called 'liberal' MSM??

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

My sister is pretty, other girls call her a whore even though she is very pure (they do it out of jealousy). These aren't threats but merely teasing. The girl kinda did it to herself by acting like an ass. But that said, she doesn't deserve to be bullied over it.

No, he thinks it makes him look hip, on the ball and smart.

This is what happens with relentless partisanship. You are a relentless partisan, and therefore lack the honesty to admit that the response to the teenager's challenge was everything to do with politics and nothing to do with anger, bigotry or homophobia.

Now they verbally rape an underage girl.

That how rapists are made, impotent rage.

Wow.

Either you haven't been raped and don't know any rape survivors, or you really are a total sell-out.

Um...I think you mean insulting a child makes the Tea Baggers look really bad...

You're welcome.

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

As a parent, I can honestly say that in private I would've high-fived her and congratulated her at scaring the pants off a public figure. Publicly, I would've accused the woman of cowardice.

A lot of these dumb tea bag hicks are probably used to having sex with their own daughter so it feels natural to verbally abuse another 16-year-old girl.

Seriously? Why are you even taking part in this conversation? What is the point of spewing such bile-laden rhetoric? What exactly are you accomplishing?

Will any of the Tea people in this thread answer my question, where is super-Mom Bachmann to protect this child?

Why doesn't she just debate the 16-year-old? Why should Tea Baggers feel threatened by that?

Why should they feel the need to insult her and verbally attacker her?

Come on Tea People, answer the question. Where is Palin to protect this child from all the vulgarity?

Two hypocritically ignorant C-words is what they, Bachmann and Palin.

We don't need their answer. She ran away from the matter and is focusing on other things. She's a sell-out politician.

Now maybe you can answer my question:

Well, from what I understand this girl chose to acts arrogantly and challenge Bachman to a debate. Some who support Bachman are now calling her names over it and she wants to make a big deal out of it. Kids tease, I was teased by liberals and conservatives over my views but I'm not going to cry a victim. Out of respect though I do not support verbally attacking her or anyone else.

Let me ask you a question. You decry the name calling of this girl yet you yourself utter offensive slurs like "teabagger" which are crass and serve no good purpose. You are concerned with hypocrisy, that is good. But before you proceed you may want to check yourself before you move on.

I don't believe she acted arrogantly. Is it arrogance if you truly do know more than the person you're challenging?

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

Actually, I think he was poking fun at people who think that the teenager in question shouldn't have challenged Bachmann to a debate.

You're right, and the people that are upset at the teenager for doing it are obviously supporters of Bachman which means they are conservatives. He was, through humor, really taking a shot at conservatives who "obviously" believe that women shouldn't be in politics.

If his lean wasn't "very liberal", I wouldn't have even responded and just assumed it was a bad joke. However, when taking in context and adding his lean in, I believe I am understanding it properly.

I think it was arrogant for her as a teenager to challenge Backman under the premise that she is stupid and can be beaten by a kid. I think arrogance is a form of disrespect, and she clearly showed that in my opinion. However, I can't agree that it's right for kids to make fun of the girl who challenged Bachman to a debate either.

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

Now maybe you can answer my question:

Because people who support Bachmann and her type of ignorant partisanship make me sick. And bile occasionally comes to my mouth.

Why do you assume Bachmann is smart enough to debate the young lady? Nothing in her record indicates that.

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

Because his overall point, that he was trying to make by being funny, was that conservatives are neanderthals who believe women belong in the kitchen and not in politics.
I did not think to take his comment that way. Maybe that's how he meant it. Idk. But I didn't think to take as a swipe at conservatives so much as a swipe at sexists.

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

Well, from what I understand this girl chose to acts arrogantly and challenge Bachman to a debate.

By the way, since when is it arrogant to call to account those who claim to want to represent your interests?

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

Right, but the target wasn't all of her supporters, nor was it all conservatives -- just the one who are upset at the teenager.

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

That is neither sufficient justification nor constructive in any way. You're not making the people you hate look bad -- you're making yourself look bad.

Because people who support Bachmann and her type of ignorant partisanship make me sick. And bile occasionally comes to my mouth.

And leaks out far too often.

It's not.

But Tea Baggers don't like being called stupid.
