Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 'threa

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

Stupid bitch belongs in the kitchen, shame on her for showing intelligence and an interest in politics, that there be mens work.
Well, yeah, once she gets married. Until then she can play at whatever she wants.

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

I am suspicious of the facts in this case, and who would threaten someone unless it was all a set up.

I'm sorry but the Liberals are getting desperate to find a way to shut down Conservatives and they are not above going this.

Just a thought.
It's not really clear that anyone is getting shut down.

It doesn't stagger my imagination that someone on the internet would say something stupid all on their own. I don't think there must be conspiracy for there to be stupid comments posted on the interwebz.
Obviously, ymmv.

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

It seems very suspicious. There is very little evidence given and even an unidentified neighbor is suspected.
It's a nobody trying to get some publicity, and it worked.
It's suspicious? How often are stupid comments posted on the intarwebz? What separates these sets of stupid commenst from the ten bajillion other stupid comments on t3h int4rwebz?

I'm 21. She kinda reminds me of my ex though, she was politically active at like age 14.
LMAO...your talking like your a old man( "my X" )..LOL, you have a long way to go;)

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

For a politician, there is no upside to debating a highschool student. If you lose, its very very bad for you and if you win, well you are just being a bully.

Absolutely. Politicians don't debate children.

From Dangerous Liasons (a favorite of mine):

I think there's something degrading about having a husband for a rival. It's humiliating if you fail, and commonplace if you succeed.

That is because the average high school student is more mature and knowledgeable than the average politician:mrgreen:

Gotta disagree with you here winston - I don't think either are particularly mature.

Right. After all, it would be detrimental to the republic if we were to leave the kiddies with the impression that anyone in Washington might ever listen to them.

Leave it to the libs to hide behind children....Do they have no shame?

Who is hiding behind children?

Of course, why I didn't think of that! She's neither intelligent nor driven nor interested enough in politics to have come up with this on her own!

She's got the DNC's hand up her ass! I bet she would've had a little radio earpiece, so that they could give her the right answers in the middle of the debate.

We'll never know, of course, because Backmann's too full of herself to take some time out of her day to encourage the next generation of voters at that school.

Somalis in Black Hawk Down.

Nothing more liberal than an early 1990s Somali.

Of course it's someone elses idea, the woman can't have the brains to do this by herself. ;)

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

Issues like this always raise suspicion in people, in regards that its not a student but rather a parent using a child.

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

Huh? Michelle Bachman is also a woman, and the people that are threatening this poor girl are almost certainly doing it out of a sense of defending Bachman. So, this comment makes zero sense.

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

It does if you take into account the fact that spud was being totally facetious.

In New York we call that "a joke."

I understood that. I get tongue in cheek. Really. But being completely illogical rather ruins the joke.

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

If you get that he was being facetious, why bother to pick at him?

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

Because his overall point, that he was trying to make by being funny, was that conservatives are neanderthals who believe women belong in the kitchen and not in politics.

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

Actually, I think he was poking fun at people who think that the teenager in question shouldn't have challenged Bachmann to a debate.

Okay, and then there's

The Courier-Post had scheduled a video interview with Amy Thursday. On Wednesday, a somewhat panicked-sounding Wayne Myers phoned to cancel, citing the alleged threats.

"I got a call from the principal that the main office received threatening mail," said the computer programmer and single father.

Re: Cherry Hill student's challenge to Tea Party champion Michele Bachmann prompts 't

Good thing it wasn't a Union member that threatened her. The Cons would be eating it up.
