This is why the ruling is bad
Seems the court didn't rule narrowly enough.
Its not surprising at all that only self discribed conservatives are ok with this. I'm going to laugh if they break into your house while you are having sex or are on the jon.
Wow, hyper partisan once?
A self described conservative started the post opposing this. Two more conservatives posted right afterwards agreeing that it was a bad ruling.
Only three people on a quick scan of the thread seems to be approving of this. The second of which was this post:
If a police officer has a reasonable belief that a crime is being committed, then they have the right to stop that crime. I agree with this ruling.
Mega breaks from some of the liberals on the forum by actually being relatively fair minded and objective at most times, but could hardly be considered anything other than liberal.
So you have three conservatives right off saying its a bad thing...you then have three people supporting it, with one of them being a liberal and the other being a conservative many of the conservatives on the board treat as an uncle tom.
And following that you had a handful of conservatives like BigFoot, Ikari, Harry, The Baron, and TAA all coming out against this. Indeed, you've had more conservatives in this thread criticizing it then you've had liberals.
What's not surprising is that a hyper partisan like yourself would rather ignore reality and read the thread but instead just immedietely go into "attack the right" mode based on stereotypes rather than reality.
