Do you have a link?
If it really was the SEALs, Marines and Special Forces must be really ****ing jealous right about now.
Didn't Obama say that?
I was surprised how much emotion I feel about this news.
I had thought bin Laden was really not that important anymore. But I find now with the President's announcement tonight that the man who brought about the brutal deaths of so many Americans and other innocents around the world, has been dispatched by American fire this day, I feel very, very gratified.

May 1, 1945: Hitler is announced dead
May 1, 2011: Bin Laden is announced dead
For those who like historic irony....
-Wikipedia (committing the Wiki sin!)May Day occurs on May 1 and refers to several public holidays.[1] In many countries, May Day is synonymous with International Workers' Day, or Labour Day, a day of political demonstrations and celebrations organised by communists, anarchists, socialists, unionists, and other activist groups. May Day is also a traditional holiday in many cultures.
[...]
May Day was also celebrated by some early European settlers of the American continent. In some parts of the United States, May Baskets are made. These baskets are small and usually filled with flowers or treats and left at someone's doorstep. The basket giver would ring the bell and run away. The person receiving the basket would try to catch the fleeing giver. If they caught the person, a kiss was to be exchanged.[citation needed]
Modern May Day ceremonies in the U.S. vary greatly from region to region and many unite both the holiday's "Green Root" (pagan) and "Red Root" (labor) traditions.[23] Among the largest is the May Day Parade and Pageant created by In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre, an event that has happened every year since 1975 in Minneapolis and now attracts some 35,000 people.
May 1 also is recognized in the U.S. as Law Day.

The RIP should be removed as it is innappropriately being used.
Also, Obama has more blood on his hands than Osama in terms of the death and destruction that the organizations over which they preside have caused. Just sayin!
Can nobody ever have a happy moment without someone trying to make them feel guilty? This is one reasons I felt so confused and maybe even guilty about my being HAPPY over this. YES I SAID HAPPY! Some people are always trying to make folks feel bad over anything and this is why so many damn people are on meds and have to see doctors.
Osama Bin Laden deserved death. You HEAR ME? DEATH and this is good that he is dead. You let all of us have our moment and stop trying to bash Obama. Please.
Hitler was killed on the 30th of April
It is however the anniversary of the Bush declaring Mission Accoplished
Drink one for me!! I have to work in the morning.
:d: d:Yay!! I love it when you post drunk, sweetie! It makes me want to hug you. *hugs*
That's why I said "announced." I don't think we actually know that this was done today, do we?
Yeah, I am still a bit torn about my happiness because you don't usually react with joy when hearing about a death. My brain is confused.
