I think for the families who lost members during 9-11 this was needed news.
There are still many Americans who mourn the lost of family members.

I think he's much less a martyr as a dead man than as one being tried in a United States courtroom.

Tomorrow is going to be an interesting day at work tomorrow. Interesting to see how the mood of the office will be.

This is a big one on the backs of the U.S. Intelligence Community and their special forces. Years have shown, even before 9/11, the guy wasn't the easiest to get ahold of. Glad we finally managed it. He's a symbol by this point, but its good to see him dead. Its not the end of the War on Terror, but it does feel like it ends a chapter of it.

True - that's a good point. He definitely would have been glorified if he were caught alive and there may have been more terrorist attacks to try to organize an escape of some sort.

On May 1, 2011 President Obama declares the mission is actually now accomplished.
