Hooray!

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. is quietly bringing back rifles, shotguns and ammunition to hundreds of U.S. stores as the hurting retail giant seeks to reinvigorate its one-stop shopping appeal and attract more male customers.
The world's largest retailer stopped selling hunting rifles and bullets at all but a third of its U.S. stores five years ago, citing diminishing sales. It is now restoring them to hundreds of locations, bringing the total to nearly half of its more than 3,600 U.S. namesake stores, as part of a larger push to restore "heritage categories" of merchandise such as fishing rods and bolts of sewing fabric that it removed in an attempt to go upscale that backfired.

This is fantastic news. Way to stick it to the liberals.

That's bull****. It makes no sense to put it next to the butter, that's the refrigerated section!

yeah - I was pissed off when I had to start driving ot the next town 30 minutes up the highway for my ****ing thread and basic fabric supplies.

However - my Walmart never gave up the guns. In fact, I bought my Ruger Ranch Rifle there a long time ago.

hmm... the walmart near me never removed the guns either. And I came very close to picking up a ruger ranch rifle from them a while back too.

For some reason, however, they don't have the ranch rifle anymore. Are you really in Arkansas? 'Cause I was gonna get that. :2mad:

Why butter though? Why not put the rifles next to Hungry man and other easy to cook meals.

They should put it next the Justin Bieber clothing rack...

Who would want to buy a rifle made in China?

My Wal Mart gave up sewing and fabric supplies. You have to buy fabric precut and their patterns suck... :2mad:
