People get death threats for beating people at video games. It's not because video gamers are crazy. It's because sometimes there's a crazy person who happens to play video games.

The difference is that when a Christian, Jew, video gamer, or clown does it, people think "man that clown was crazy" instead of "man clowns are crazy."

I have a friend her name is Qudsia, she is from Afghanistan, she moved to the US at age 16 and went nuts, she could wear blue jeans, go to school, hang out with friends, but when she married an American Christian Man, they considered her dead, they told that to her face. Her Uncle tried to run her over with his car, stalked her and hit her with a baseball bat. she had to move and not associate with anyone in her community. the pressure was too much on her marriage and they divorced after 5 years. the family took her back and sent her to Germany where they arraigned for her to marry a Muslim man, she left him after a year and know one has seen her in 6 years. I am sorry but I know even moderate Muslims who are just nuts when it comes to culture and they will kill their own kids if they are shamed. this is not a practice reserved for extremist Muslims. Most Musilms feel this way, only a handful of Christians will do this, and I think they more Nuts than doing it in the name of Christianity

Um............. I'm someone who used other sources like the Witch trails in Africa, or at the beings of America not just the old Testament. If that is something that Christians shouldn't live by then why put it in the Christan bible in the first place?

What I give the Muslim is their endurance over thousands of years to their god & scripture & religious beliefs practiced several times daily. They walk the walk in their faith. They don't waver with the changes and trends of other faiths. A Jezebel is still a Jezebel to them. A Christian calls them fanatic's, when they should be asking their own god to give them the strength to walk in Jesus's shoes.

I'm not a Christian o wise one. In fact i am from Turkey. So technically it mean's i have roots to the faith although i certainly am not Muslim.

Let's face it, it's a conservative religion that is causing much harm to the world. They need to modernize it while keeping the core message the same, THAT is not a betrayal to mohammed but an acknowledgement of his words that need to continue throughout the ages.

It doesn't allow me, because I am not of that faith, but yes, it allows some faiths to practice such behavior. Religion also allows the mutilation of the sex organs in the most barbaric fashion of cannibalism. It has people imagining their are drinking blood & eating human flesh. It has them imagining they are dead and raising from a grave. It has them swinging live chickens above their heads, beating their heads on walls, spinning prayer wheels, dancing with snakes, etc. All sorts of vileness pours out of religious beliefs still practiced today with no shame. Fact is, religion should be outlawed.

But i don't understand...how is that the case with Judaism or Christianity?

Islam should be modernized in the sense that an emphasis should be put on leading a sinless and pure life but accepting others for not wanting to go down that same path, Islam should be modernized to accept that religion is a lifestyle choice that should not be imposed under any circumstances.

It should be modernized to promote greater equality between genders and to emphasize that gender discrimination is a sin, Jihad should be scrapped entirely to limit room for misinterpretation and Shariah law should be recognized as an outdated and incompatible notion in the 21st century.

Above all Islam should recognize that it is the duty of every Muslim to help a brother or non-Muslim correct his ways when he is sinful but to accept the way he is should he continue to sin and pray that Allah will intervene and help him and to never discriminate against that person or use force/violence unless this sin could cause death to other members of society (one can take homosexuality as an example. so, recognize that homosexuality is a sin but not prosecute them for this and be accepting of there ways. Closest way we can fit this into a religious society without sparking a witchhunt like what we see in Iran. Lets face it, homosexuality will always be a sin in religious circles).

you have one church that has perverted the writings in the scripture, I have issues with the catholic church still teaching gods word using the old testiment.
So, sure you have a few nuts like this and like Abortion clinic bombers and crazed lunitic mothers drowning their kids because she believes the devil is inside them or the 2 or 3 nut cases that kill their wifes because they believe that god told them too but is not in the Christian culture to do this today.... Main stream christianith does not support these actions, Main stream Islam supports it even among the so called moderate muslims.
