One company in the black doesnt equal consumers are doing better.

Doesn't "in the black" mean something bad?

Anyway, my bad, SOME consumers are doing better. The uptick in sales of durable goods in general means something, though.

Yea some, but it shouldnt be spun that people are no longer hurting. Unemployment is still a bitch.

Interesting...wouldn't something like "in the green" make more sense? I have no accounting background so I'll just give you the benefit of the doubt.
