There is a HUGE racial component to this.

Notice how the employees - all black - just give kind of a passing "help" to this girl, who is convulsing by the end of this beating. These two black females just keep returning again and again to continue the beating, while the employees just watch.

The camera operator actually warns the attackers that the police are on the way, and that they should hurry up and leave. Incredible.

It takes an older white lady to come in and offer any kind of helpful resistance.

This is a prime example of why I get so disgusted at how the racist tag is so liberally thrown at white people, and how it's almost taboo to discuss in the opposite manner. In my opinion, racism is more deeply rooted and practiced in the black community, both toward whites and Hispanics, than it is in whites.

While not a mainstream news source, there is nothing more "newsy" than actual video, and the recent trend of these attacks in fast-food restaurants, I thought, made it breaking news worthy.

That was a pretty brutal and difficult to video to watch and I agree that there is probably a racial component to this, but this line "racism is more deeply rooted and practiced in the black community, both toward whites and Hispanics, than it is in whites" is BULL****.

Race probably had nothing to do with it, it was because the woman was transgendered.

Oops, I should have read the rest of the thread. I just got mad at the B.S. and felt the need to post. Even so, I wouldn't be surprised if race was a factor....I'm never surprised about the role of racism/other isms in anything.

These two savages should be in jail for attempted murder. Race or not, this was felonious assault and attempted homicide.

Mcdonalds should have a lawsuit on thier hands.

This is completely uncalled for, I think that the women should stand trial for attempted murder, and the employees that didn't render aid should also stand trial for failing to lend assistance, and depraved indifference, and what ever else the prosecutor can come up with to charge them with. This could be any of our daughters popping in to get a cheese burger, and in increasing municipalities wrong place at the wrong time is all the provocation they need to do this. It's sick.

I hope they prosecute the low life who took the video for anything they can.

If I owned that McDonalds every employee working during that incident would be fired on the spot.

I have to travel to Baltimore (Martin Air Field) tomorrow for a few days for work.

Needless to say I won't be going to McDonalds.

There were comments by one worker saying "It's a man, it's a man" I'm sure race didn't have anything to do with it.

I think it's where the Martin (of Lockheed/Martin) built airplanes years ago.

When dealing with trans people, it is best to call them in accordance to their preferred gender, and the one they are presenting as. This woman has had SRS, and is clearly living full time as a woman, it's a no brainer as to what to call her.

That would seem to be the case. The lady victim was born with male attachments. Now watch all the outraged righties' heads implode at the thought they've been supporting a "weirdo" for 23 pages!
