Egypt's Hosni Mubarak in hospital after 'heart attack'

Israel has killed far more Palestinians than vice versa. Whether they were "deliberately targeted" or not doesn't matter much to the families of the dead. Just like you're perfectly fine with "collateral damage" if it advances Israel's policy goals, many Arabs view what Hamas does in exactly the same light.

Something to ponder...Israel has never declared war against its Muslim neighbors, including Iran (sworn to destroy them, and kill or drive everyone into the sea)..yet Israel has not sent terrorists over their borders to kill civilians and deliberately target the most helpless.

It is also significant that while Israel has had its nukes for a couple of years now, she has never nuked any of the hostile nations surrounding her.

What does that tell you?

Yeah, you posted this before. And I already responded to it. Posting the exact same thing again verbatim is not going to get you a different response.

It tells me that Israel has the minimal amount of restraint necessary to not start a nuclear war. Whoop-dee-doo. You can say the same thing about North Korea.

Looks like the tribal-thinking populations of the Middle East are proving you wrong every day, by sacrificing stability, protesting for freedom, and seeking to depose their strong guy at the top.

Or did you intend for the "tribal-thinking population" comment to apply to yourself? Because you certainly sound like you don't respect freedom, and want stability with a strong guy at the top.

The issue is a tribal, sectarian culture that hasn't matured enough to actually live peacefully with each other.

Foe instance, Sunni and Shia have been fighting each other since the schism began. But, prior to the imposition of artificial borders, they stayed clumped so you didn't have the sectarian fighting within a city. I believe, the roots of our trouble today were planted by the British at the end of WWI when they created borders, nations, and kingdoms out of the Ottoman Empire. Don't know if it was done out of ignorance and hubris, or as a conscious calculation to keep the nations weak through internal squabbles.

The culture lives an eye for an eye. The rule of secular, civil law is secondary to the "right" of a family or tribe to make their own justice by killing someone on the other side. Back & forth with almost no one willing to step back from the next act of revenge.

So when you mix Sunni, Shia and Kurd together in the same country, and the same city, there are going to be **** loads of problems if there isn't a central authority that both sides are too afraid of to buck the authority.

The headline is wrong. You need to have a heart in order to have a heart attack.

Why? Lets face it, the winner makes the rules

Also, Israel has never declared war against its Muslim neighbors, including Iran, sworn to destroy them, and kill or drive everyone into the sea. Israel has not sent terrorists over their borders to kill civilians and deliberately target the most helpless.

That is irrelveant. The settlements cause problems in the Muslim world and some of that backlash ends up directed against the U.S. We have the power to influence their policy with aid money and we should use it.
