AFP: US right-wing media host Beck quits Fox daily show

NEW YORK — Right-wing radio host and television presenter Glenn Beck -- one of the most controversial media figures in the United States -- is leaving his daily show on the Fox News Channel to develop other projects.

"Glenn intends to transition off of his daily program," Beck and Fox said in a joint statement.

Fox News and Mercury Radio Arts, Beck's production company, said they were "proud to announce that they will work together to develop and produce a variety of television projects for air on the Fox News Channel as well as content for other platforms including Fox News? digital properties."

I am curious to see where he goes from here. The article gives no indications as to why he is leaving.

Might be moving on to bigger and better things. While the Libbos are probably jumping for joy, this may turn out to be a bad thing for them, in the long run.

Only the "libbos" who take him seriously enough to get offended by him. The man is a cartoon character. If more people saw him for what he is, his ratings would diminish drastically.

Agreed. That was way before he amped up the crazy with Fox. It makes me wonder if CNN HLN was restraining him or if his whole persona on Fox was a game plan on his part or the the part of the network.
