Re: Investigations Find ‘Unprecedented’ Political Review of FOIA Requests by Homeland

The complets opposite of the fantasy world of Fox Khanservatism.

NeoKhans- New King

The dodge of the day goes to Jet.

No you see, I'd be quite happy to answer your question.

I just don't see.

A: What it has to do with this topic

B: What it has to do with what I said.

You haven't really responded to what i've said, instead chose to immediately be antagonistic without understanding the message.

And that message is quite simple.

I'M NOT SURPRISED.

It's quite simple.

It's gutless to sling mud and then hide when it's your turn to take fire.

That's exactly what you're doing.

I do not understand.

You can fling all the mud you want at my leaders (I technically have 3). I fling mud at them myself all the time.

Your point is pretttttttttty moot.

(Psst, Jet. The only correct answer he'll take is "Oh my God, my lord and savior has been tarnished! I pledge myself to the teachings of my new savior, Mitt Romney.")

Again, Conservatives here are clinging to this notion that everybody who voted for Obama accepted him as their "god." Wrong. Most of the people who voted for him knew he was a politician, and merely thought he was a better alternative to 4 more years of Bush. Which brings us to another point --Stop the goddamn "Poor, Persecuted George" routine. Is that really the best card you've got? You sound like a pouty 7 year old. ("But the people on TV made fun of him...")

There is no good excuse for his actions here. Still, he's a politician, and they kind of break promises once in a while ("Read my lips, no new taxes."). I really can't expect him to keep all of his promises anymore than I would anyone else.

Re: Investigations Find ‘Unprecedented’ Political Review of FOIA Requests by Homeland

I find it very odd that you guys love to come down on Obama when he does the opposite of Bush, then criticize him for doing the same thing as Bush.

It's a fair criticism, but really, what do you want from the guy?

When he does the opposite of Bush it always seems to be something I liked that Bush did.
When he does the same as Bush it always seems to be something Bush did that I didn't like.

No, I'm not Foxing up words. Like lamestream media.

That's a new word that sounds like an old word but means a new thing.

All the other rich people our rich people are competing with have peasants.

Our fiscal elites will never have more than the others unless we're peasants too.

Then they'll be the New Kings.

And our govt will consist of cops prisons and soldiers, protecting their property and keeping the peasants in line.

Ya knuckleheads oughta take a look at the world and see how life is like for the average person in the model being enacted here now.

Places like Mexico, for instance. Ever ask yourselves why they come here.

Because the hereditary elites own 90% OF EVERYTHING. And the lowest 80% have to survive on something like 20% of GDP.

But you were saying?

Re: Investigations Find ‘Unprecedented’ Political Review of FOIA Requests by Homeland

Damn I thought this Thread was about failing to comply with FOIA requests and the lack Openness and Transparency by Obama's worse than lousy choice of Homeland Security lying Bitch.

Why is it that President Bush's name comes up so damn much, and on subjects he has not one stinking thing to do with.

Obama is the one who made the false claims of a new era of openness and Transparency, no one else.

Napolitano wants to hide the facts because she is a lying scumbag who doesn't want people to know such things as her ordering the Border Patrol to make fewer arrests, or did that come from Obama, he's the one who gets the illegal votes.

I recently said I don't hate anyone only what they say and stand for, but Obama and Napolitano are close to being the first.

Gotta love it when lifties try to sum up Conservatives beliefs. It's rather fun to watch.

Lefties were fooled by 0bama.

Bush was not on my ballot in 2008. Perhaps you should speak to the people who create your states ballot. They shoud have had McCain/Palin and 0bama/Biden.

There is no good excuse for his actions here. Still, he's a politician, and they kind of break promises once in a while ("Read my lips, no new taxes."). I really can't expect him to keep all of his promises anymore than I would anyone else.

Soooooo once again not actually addressing what it is I said.

And so once again you sit on the sidelines slinging mud then turn tail and run away when it's your turn to take fire.

Gutless doesn't begin to describe it.

I'll tell you if you really want to know.

But the interesting thing is, you can fling all the mud you want at my leaders and my system, because I DO TOO!

So we can all have fun.

The thing is, it does not make my point any less poignant.

How can I sling mud at something I don't know?

It's highly possible your nation and leaders are noble and just and deserve praise.

It's not that I want to sling mud at your nation. The point is that you hide it for some reason.

If you want to keep it secret then OK. Just don't sling mud if you don't have a dog in the fight.

Simply because I did not want the discussion to become about that, when it isn't.

I'm South African, British, Canadian.

The ruling party of South Africa has been in power far, far too long, they're a bunch of corrupt, money grabbing bastards, my president is an accused rapist, arms smuggling crook and money embezzler who's only positive was that he didn't **** up the world cup and reversed the former presidents disastrous policies on HIV AIDS in a country that has the highest amount of infected people.

Britain of course is having it's own problems but I feel at this time David Cameron is doing the right thing with some of the cuts, I don't agree with him on everything, especially his wily nilly positions on Libya, especially when he can't keep his own cabinet in line with his positions.

And Canada, well... with a federal election coming up in May, I say keep things the way they are, Canada needs a steady hand, Harper has kept things together even if I don't think he's directly responsible for Canadas positive out come, coming out of the global recession, he provided the steady hand and steadfast policies that made sure Canada came out relatively unscathed and in one of the strongest positions in the Western World.

And some People think I'm a liberal :rofl

That good for yah

I'm South African, British, Canadian.

All noble and just nations.

I don't pay close attention to the inner workings of other free and peaceful nations.

I have enough trouble keeping track of my own nation and reading about US history.

Re: Investigations Find ‘Unprecedented’ Political Review of FOIA Requests by Homeland

thought this was another petty neocon whine about the Obama administration
and that's what it has turned out to be

however, i found this, and it is alarming, tho unconfirmed:
Papoi claims that she was demoted within DHS for raising concerns about the FOIA process.
Former Organizing for America staffer | FOIA requests | Department of Homeland Security | The Daily Caller - Breaking News, Opinion, Research, and Entertainment

seems the DHS insiders have targeted papoi
maybe she is a bush holdover trying to embarrass the Obama administration
possibly, it was papoi's allegations which prompted the unusual review of how FOIA requests are administered
the investigation states that no illegal actions were found:
Edwards, the inspector general, said his office had not determined that DHS has done anything illegal. But, he stressed much improvement needs to be made.
[OP cite]
but that does not mean that politics are not being played within DHS
that needs to be further outed
is it Obama's people who are abusing their positions or is it the shrub's supporters trying to inflict political damage
or maybe both

Re: Investigations Find ‘Unprecedented’ Political Review of FOIA Requests by Homeland

What a crock!
What is it that you wanted, then? Whenever somebody says "That's politicians," you start accusing people of dodging the question

Gotta love it when lifties try to sum up Conservatives beliefs. It's rather fun to watch.

That and watching Conservatives sum up what everybody who voted for Obama thought

Lefties were fooled by 0bama.

Bush was not on my ballot in 2008. Perhaps you should speak to the people who create your states ballot. They shoud have had McCain/Palin and 0bama/Biden.

Did you listen to McCain during the campaign? His platform could be summed up in the words "4 more years."

Translation = I got punked.

Punked? By who, you? That's the most laughable thing I've ever heard. By Obama? No, I voted for a politician and it turns out he is one. Hardly a surprise. You may want to watch the next election. Usually the candidates are all politicians and you choose one.
