Utah becomes first state in US to have state gun

I saw this on the news last night and thought what a great choice, it's one of my favorites for knock down power. I prefer my the Colt .38 Super auto, same style but the same stats as the .357 mag & higher capacity the the .45, same designer.

38 super never got proper respect for self defense-its only when the "gamesmen" in USPSA figured out they could make IPSC major with the 38Super with less recoil and more capacity did those take off-albeit with a modified gun (fully supported chamber--38S loaded to major shot in standard colt barrels could lead to what we used to call 'super face")
 
Does Utah get a commission on every Colt 1911 45 ACP sold?
 
Although I have virtually no knowledge of guns, this beats the arguments between states about each other's state flower and such.

More like 10 minutes of legislative time followed by no action taken, like most of what legislators do. :)
 
What about all the things that went on in Utah in the past?Have you heard of the Mormons? No wonder why they are the first to have a state gun.Good choice in a firearm all the same.
