Obama Has 'Failed to Lead' on Spending Cuts, Democratic Senator Says - FoxNews.com

Freshman Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin accused President Obama of sitting on the sidelines Tuesday while Congress debates "wildly different" budget bills that are expected to fail.

"Our president has failed to lead this debate or offer a serious proposal for spending and cuts that he would be willing to fight for," Manchin, D-W.Va., said on the Senate floor.

failed to lead... pretty much sums Obama up alrighty.

...his comments add fuel to GOP claims that Democratic spending proposals do not go deep enough. Republicans are calling for $61 billion in spending cuts, while Democrats are proposing about $8.7 billion, according to a recent analysis. That includes $4 billion in cuts approved in the last two-week budget bill.

Honestly, Manchin so far seems to me to be more conservative than some of the Republicans in the Senate.

So far Obama and his amateurs have failed at every attempt to effectively and meaningfully effect the economy in a positive way.

Only a damn fool can think you can spend you way out of a financial disaster.

It takes an even bigger fool think that raising taxes is going to make up the difference between what you take in and what you are over spending.

If you reduce taxes and back off of restrictions and regulations that inhibit growth, not just stop over spending but cut the budget by eliminating every piece of pork and cut out the waste on programs and projects that do nothing but suck up cast you can make some progress.

Obama is in over his head and we are paying for it. The even sadder truth is he has chown that he is good only at reading someone Else's words off a teleprompter and lying his sorry dumb ass off.

Honestly, Democrats, Republicans and whatever experts they can get in every field from education to agriculture to defense need to sit down for a few months and really hack off all unnecessary spending.

Neither Democrats or Republicans have made such an effort.

I'm all for taxes in exchange for effective government programs, but I'm getting fed up with the ineffective education system, lazy rhetoric filled politicians and lack of general critical thinking by the American population in general. Some OCD type needs to analyze every budget for every branch of government, take out of all of the unnecessary spending and then fix the inefficiency of the government that both Democrats and Republicans have maintained for far too long.

Obama has failed to lead on [fill in the blank]...

This will be the title of his next and final autobiography.
