The federal government posted its largest monthly deficit in history in February at $223 billion, according to preliminary numbers the Congressional Budget Office released Monday morning.
That figure tops last February’s record of $220.9 billion, and marks the 29th straight month the government has run in the red — a modern record. The last time the federal government posted even a monthly surplus was September 2008, just before the financial collapse.
Wow, that sure is a big number.

Really - a surplus?

Continuing to plug holes in the sinking ship I see. Better keep those money machines printing while we still can!

If you take this number and look at the phony unemployment number you have to come to the conclusion that there was NO GAIN IN NEW NET JOBS. Had there been more people would be contributing to the tax base and bring the economy more into balance.

Just talk to PB. Everything is peachy dandy, the country is doing fine, Obama is perfect, can do no wrong.

So what's the problem again?

State unions get paid too much. Large corporations screw over America through multiple channel too. Both are unrelated.
