In a show of solidarity with public unions, President Obama today announced that henceforth federal employee unions would for the first time have collective bargaining rights, and as a show of good faith, the freeze of wages for federal employees he had previously announced would be put in abeyance until the unions decided if it were acceptable to them.

Just kidding.
