Indiana Democrats flee state legislature to avoid anti-union vote -- like Wisconsin counterparts
By Emi Kolawole
Indiana Democratic lawmakers are following the lead of their Wisconsin counterparts by leaving the legislature -- and their state -- to avoid a vote on anti-union legislation. Like the Wisconsin legislators, they're going to Illinois.
the Post's Greg Sargent reports all but two of the legislature's Democrats are leaving and heading to Illinois, setting the stage for a state government shutdown. The party needed to keep two Democrats in the state in order to make any necessary motions and block Republicans from moving the legislation through in the absence of a quorum.

I think I know what Dems across the country are going to be known for this year. The campaign ads just write themselves don't they?
