Where's the stimulus?

You fail to understand the point of the stimulus.

Care to explain to me the point of 'stimulus' like this??

Handouts Make Up 1/3 of Wages

why do so many of you debaters focus so much of your energy on trying to score little points vs each other, why do you so regularly fail to distinguish the large from the small, why do you routinely deny the truth and instead try to look at planet sized developments as spin?

don't you find such petty point scoring vs dp personalities demeaning?

either way, party on

stay up

Ya... people are funny like that.

You are aware it's an opinion piece?

That never stopped Media [doesn't] Matters from linking to a Glenn Beck article every 2.3 hours. And worse, it never stopped our resident liberals from sucking down the MM koolaid daily by the gallon.

Food prices soared 3.9 percent last month, the biggest gain since November 1974. Most of that increase was due to a sharp rise in vegetable costs, which increased nearly 50 percent. That was the most in almost a year. Meat and dairy products also rose.

Energy prices rose 3.3 percent last month, led by a 3.7 percent increase in gasoline costs.

Separately, the Commerce Department said home construction plunged to a seasonally adjusted 479,000 homes last month, down 22.5 percent from the previous month. It was lowest level since April 2009, and the second-lowest on records dating back more than a half-century.

The building pace is far below the 1.2 million units a year that economists consider healthy.

Wholesale prices up 1.6 pct. on steep rise in food - Yahoo! Finance

good luck selling that recovery, keynesians

This returns to the question that is CONVENIENTLY being ignored :

HOW HAS THIS STIMULUS BEEN SUCCESSFUL???? People have made the claim, but noone seems willing to defend that position...

The only "good" this stimulus has caused has been bad... so, please, anyone cure me of my ignorance about how this has been a 'good thing'... and I don't mean in a 'it prevented more job losses' generic sense, I mean HARD NUMBERS... preferably verifiable.

It saved jobs. I don't know what the **** that means, I just hear tons of liberals trying to sell me that bull****. By Obama's own definition, the stimulus failed miserably. He said with it, unemployment wouldn't go above 8% and it went to 10 and stayed there for most of his administration. So it can't possibly have worked, by his own words, it failed.

That's all I can answer.

Ya... and that 10% is a 'cooked' number... it doesn't count people that are no-longer on EI, given up looking for work, going back to school, under-employed, etc...

There's been at least 10 people in this thread that have made comments defending the stimulus, and so to them I am serious in my question :
HOW has this been a success???

Until I'm cured of this ignorance, it seems that the 'success' is only if you are in the 'too big to fail' club... otherwise, well... sorry, but you're just 'too small to save'.
