Why did he resign? Don't care, he did what he should do, he manned up and did the right thing, he didn't make excuses, he saved his party from taking steps to get rid of him. That alone makes him more of a man, then far to many in public office.

I find it very sad when my party of "family values" sins. However, we are all sinners and at least my side tries to do the right thing.
Dems don't even try, so any perverted or corrupt thing they do is just another day in the life of a Dem.

There's democrats caught in scandals that did resign and there's republicans caught in scandals that didn't. You're acting just like some liberal trying to turn this into a partisan thing. Idiots are on both sides. To act as though only republicans are forced to resign after stuff like this is just plain silly and you know it.

You consider it an insult to dare to say that your side of the isle is just like everyone else? That's not an insult, it's fact. Republicans can't keep their private parts to themselves any better than democrats can and vice-versa.

A local Indiana repub congressman (Souder) blamed D.C. for his affair and said he wasn't going to put his family through the press scrutiny, so he resigned. If that isn't a victim mentality I don't know what is.

BTW he was another one of those family values hypocrites while he was banging his staffer.

Debating isn't solely about trying to make little jabs at the other side while saying little to nothing of substance. I could give a **** less about Charlie Rangle. I think he should be kicked out of office and thrown in jail. Not everyone is as partisan as you.

Absolutely I find it insulting. Family values is one thing that attracts me to conservatives.

I don't know how conservative Lee is (not familiar with him) but it still saddens me he would do that to his wife.

Yeah, he only broke the law. Big difference between breaking the law and ****ing around on one's wife. The latter is worse, according to you, even though it's not illegal.
