No.....Im saying its the government's job to control our borders. Since the government wont do it........I guess the over-burdened US Employer will have to take care of it.........like everything else.
The employer is not over-burdened to verify if a potential employee meets the qualifications to work.
I didnt say they all were......but many are.......and your "solution" does in no way what so ever address the filth that should first in line to be deported.
Who ever gets deported should be who ever is first finished serving their sentence.
Fake documents are a dime a dozen. I guess we should mandate that all employers take classes in spotting fake documents......OR FINE THEM!
It shouldn't be too hard for an employer to do a back ground check to make sure the applicant is who they say they are.
Two to Tango indeed. So lets also start fining The Landlords, The Mortgage Companies, The Utility Companies, and The Grocers.
Is it illegal to rent, sell property to illegals? Is it illegal for the utility companies for sell water, gas or electricity to illegals? Is is illegal for grocery stores to sell groceries to illegals? NO? Is it illegal for some piece of **** to hire an illegal? Yes it is.So is absurd to say we should jail the grocer for selling groceries to illegals.
.........if Illegals didnt have a home, food, heat, water, and electricity........they wouldnt be coming here or staying here. If its good for the goose.....
Your defense of scumbags who hire illegals amuses me. You almost remind me of another poster who kept defending these scumbags who hire illegals. Is that you Voidwar?

Damn right it isnt the only "solution". Here is a crazy idea......lets punish THE ACTUAL CRIMINALS.....rather than all the American Citizens that come after the fact.
Those who hire illegals are criminals.
Punishment for Illegals--The Actual Criminals
1. Warm Bed
2. Free Food
3. Free Bus Ride Home
4. Thank you for coming, please try again.
They should be thrown in jail for a minimum of six months before being deported.
Proposed Punsihment For American Citizens who knowingly or unknowingly hire Illegals
1. Fine them up the ***
2. Destroy their Business
3. Throw them in Jail
The part in bold is what many are concerned about. If you knowingly hire an illegal or deliberaltly not do the proper checks in order to hire illegals those three things should happen to you.
Bank Robberies are not the fault of Banks.
It is if the pay someone to rob their bank.
....Auto Theft is not the fault of Car Owners..
It is if the car owner pays someone to steal his car.
....and Illegal Immigration is not the fault of the few remaining US Employers.
Most of these 12-20 million in this country are here because of the fact these pieces of **** will hire illegals.
The deterrent is only effective as the punishment is harsh. And considering the punishment for Illegaly crossing this border is a warm bed, free food, and a free bus ride.
Which is why they should serve jail time before getting their free bus ride home.
.......I think the focus should be on punishing THE ACTUAL CRIMINALS......rather than the few US Employers that still reside in this country.
Those who hire illegals are criminals. They are just as much as a criminal as those who come here illegally.
FAIR: The Law Against Hiring or Harboring Illegal Aliens
Summary
A person (including a group of persons, business, organization or local government) commits a federal felony when he:
* assists an alien whom he should reasonably know is illegally in the U.S. or who lacks employment authorization, by transporting, sheltering, or assisting him to obtain employment,
* encourages that alien to remain in the U.S., by referring him to an employer, by acting as employer or agent for an employer in any way, or
* knowingly assists illegal aliens due to personal convictions.
Penalties upon conviction include criminal fines, imprisonment, and forfeiture of vehicles and real property used to commit the crime.
Anyone employing or contracting with an illegal alien without verifying his work authorization status is guilty of a misdemeanor. Aliens and employers violating immigration laws are subject to arrest, detention, and seizure of their vehicles or property. In addition, individuals or entities who engage in racketeering enterprises that commit (or conspire to commit) immigration-related felonies are subject to private civil suits for treble damages and injunctive relief.
