Senator moves to ban drug sold as bath salts

Just damn, meth, and bath salts are two words shouldn't go together.

It's getting to the point where it's probably safer to just give your kids weed, and say don't do anything else :lol:

People will always find ways to get stoned. My grandfather was apt to smoke dried virginia creeper and corn silk in a corncob pipe. :shrug: That seems pretty ****ing tame to scraping off match heads and burning hand sanitizer.

Just as an info all...I did a very basic Google...according to the article on Wikipedia (from the 'for what its worth' category) the drugs they make in the video do not produce a high. they MAY produce harmful side effects including death..
 
Why oh why must we continue to ban every single drug that pops up? It's obvious the war on drugs is a miserable failure. As I see it, just ignoring things like this would be an easy way out for politicians who don't want to admit that they made a mistake by supporting the drug war. Eventually more drug-users would gravitate toward the legal stuff and the war on drugs would naturally sputter out on its own.
 
I didn't even know that bath salts could do this until I read about it in the news. How many people are getting ideas now?

Drugs that can harm kids being sold to kids? You don't think they should be banned? I think the War on Drugs is a failure too, but to make a buck off harming kids should be a crime that carries a very lengthy prison sentence. And if a kid dies from the drug, then whoever sold it should be charged with murder.

OK, maybe ban it to people under 18 then. But there's no reason to ban it to everyone.

OK, I think I can agree with that, but right now, these drugs are being targeted to kids, and that must be dealt with.

You think the bath salt manufacturers are purposely marketing kids so they can get high. Come on! :roll:

Where I come from you have to sign for matches because the sulfur in the tips can be used in the manufacturing of meth.
