Well, I mean more in terms of a company actively censoring the people of a country. Read about the United Fruit Company in El Salvador and Guatemala. It's amazing the **** that 'the free market' got away with in those countries. The company essentially slaughtered thousands of Mayans protesting the destruction of their ancestral lands. A large percentage of the 'state terrorism' in Latin America has actually been 'corporate terrorism', companies have taken control of weak governments and killed thousands. 'Banana Republic' is just one term for such corporate governments.

Doesn't make his statement any less true. I mean, why else cover up a loving family, oh thats right, because someone is disgusted by it.
