LONDON: An American pilot has been jailed for being so drunk at the Heathrow airport that he could not remember where he was flying to when asked by security officials.

A report in the Daily Express said George La Perle, 49, who flew for Delta Airlines, was found to be four and a half times over the alcohol limit. He told security staff he was flying to New York. But his actual destination was Detroit. Upon being questioned, he told the security staff he had just had a few beers the previous evening. He has been jailed for six months.

Actually, I don't blame him. If I knew I was going to Detroit, I would get drunk on my ass too.

Article is here.

I hate flying. And, if I was on this plane and found out the pilot was **** faced, I would be lookin' to bitch slap the mother ****er.

What, a pilot can't get drunk every once and a while like the rest of you?

Half the time I forget where I'm going and I'm usually sober! lol

My answer to "where are you going" is usually "I don't know but I'm sure I'll be standing here again sometime tomorrow."

"Could you tell me why Delta Flight 1512 is late and switched gates?"
