Hawaii law bars release of Obama birth info

Ah, we're asked to prove positives here, not negatives.

You can't accuse Obama's birth certificate of being fake, and then expect me to prove it's real?

Do you believe the President was born in any other country? And do you have any evidence of this?

Uh, dude; you would be proving a positive.

You didn't answer the question.

For arguments sake, lets say he doesn't have one at all...

Do you think the President was born elsewhere, and if so where's your proof?

I think that Obama is the one that has to prove it but he doesn't have the cahones. Nobody has the proof except himself and we are just spinning our wheels for nothing. I was just joking around and making fun of this ridiculous subject. I could care less where he was born, people were stupid enough to vote for a person who we don't know nothing about and now they shouldn't question this 2 years later. TOO LATE!!

To continue my fun I will prove to you that he was born in Kenya. Take a look!!!

The burden is on him to prove it's fake... not me to prove it's real.

There's sufficient evidence to say he's born in Hawaii, and no elsewhere.

Now if you have evidence to the contrary, I'd be excited to see it.

True, but he can't prove a negative. However, you can prove a positive.

Red Crow brings up a good point about the cert. number being blacked out.

Probably for privacy reasons.

Again, can you prove it's not real?

Why would blacking out the cert number fall under a privacy issue?

I think you're ****ing with Red Crow, because he's a Native American; just another dirt worshiper, that doesn't know any better, in your opinion.

He can't prove anything either my dear friend. He is a spinner and you know it too.

I wouldn't exchange my life for anyone else's. I am proud of my roots and my heritage and words will never hurt me, I live my life on a higher level.

Thanks for your support and kindness my friend.

You're most welcome, brother.

Your evidence is two newspaper announcements that anybody could have put there and a COLB that the state of Hawaii has refused to authenticate. There is really nothing that proves that he was born there.
Depending on who you ask, he could have been born at one of two different hospitals. Neither of which has a record of his birth.
His paternal grandmother has said she was there when he was born in (what is today called) Kenya.
His own wife called Kenya his "home country".

In 2004 Kenya's oldest newspaper printed an article titled "Kenyan-born Obama all set for US Senate"
Kenyan-born Obama all set for US Senate

Actually no. Not anyone. The Hawaii Star-Bulletin only got their notices from the Department of Health Vital Statistics System.

Source

"As a Star-Bulletin employee explained to WorldNetDaily, the editors “print what we receive from the Department of Health Vital Statistics System,” and did so in 1961. And the Advertiser worked the same way."

Even if anyone COULD do it, why would they? Unless they could see fifty years into the future and know that Barack Obama's birth would be up for debate and thus they placed bogus notices in the paper? Sounds like a stretch to me.

COLB that the state of Hawaii has refused to authenticate.

Actually, they have, and other people have, and have found it to be satisfactory.

His own wife called Kenya his "home country".
So?

Why don't you frickin do some research before you spout bull****?

That's Bull****!

The governor said so

Q: You stirred up quite a controversy with your comments regarding birthers and your plans to release more information regarding President Barack Obama's birth certificate. How is that coming?

A: I got a letter from someone the other day who was genuinely concerned about it; it is not all just political agenda. They were talking on Olelo last night about this; it has a political implication for 2012 that we simply cannot have.

(Abercrombie said there is a recording of the birth in the State Archives and he wants to use that.)

It was actually written I am told, this is what our investigation is showing, it actually exists in the archives, written down ...

...What I can do, and all I have ever said, is that I am going to see to it as governor that I can verify to anyone who is honest about it that this is the case.

If there is a political agenda then there is nothing I can do about that, nor can the president.

Can they confirm that the announcements were ever in their papers? Do they still have the original announcement from the DOH? Do they have anything official that says obama was born in their state?
Hawaii has never confirmed that his COLB is real. They have even gone so far as to refuse to confirm it. Factcheck is run by the annenberg foundation of which obama was on their board of directors. Of course they are going to say it's real. They probably helped to make it.
Now, properly address his own wife practically saying that he was born in Kenya. Saying "so?" doesn't make it go away.

Exactly. A signature stamp.
Has anyone from the state of Hawaii actually handled this piece of paper?
Has it ever been in the same time zone as Hawaii?

You've got it kind of wrong. The claim has been he wasn't born here. Documentation was proved that he was. If someone says that's a fake, that's the positive claim. He has to prove it fake and not have someone prove it isn't. Absence evidence of it being fake, the claim that it is can't be made. Not in any logical or reasonable way.

Notice, no one admits to being a birther, but over 500 posts on this. Wonder why that is...

We'll know in 20 years, when it's not longer relevant.

It's just weird. I don't remember another president so hesitant to produce his birth or academic records as Obama.

Why do you always try and blame your comments on some other person?

blame?

LOL!

they're not my comments, silly

they're movements in the state capitols of 5 of our states

(there're actually 5 MORE states beginning to go this way, maybe i'll tell you which they are, if i choose, later)

it is what it is

party on, peeps

**** the birth certificate, I want to see his academic records.

Way to miss the point!

I didn't miss it, just thought it was stupid.

this thread is no different from any other political thread. hard headed partisans on either side yammering away at each other and neither side willing to budge an inch.

business as usual.

Nobody knew anything about this guy and still voted for him and didn't cared to find out anything about Obama.

I don't see why is so important now.

This is a complete waste of time in my book. Who cares?? It's too late.

Finding out where he was born won't rapair all the damage that he has done to this country anyway. Leave it alone.
