Hawaii law bars release of Obama birth info

Again, what action on Obama's part contributed to this? Bush did disappear from the NG. There were legitimate questions there. Political or not. Show me the legitimate question and act on Obama's part.

Bush did not disappear from the NG, his commanding officer knew where he was at all times. this is just more partisan hack crappola.

it is the same thing. dumbasses making up **** and then questioning a politician about it.

Nor are they necessarily right. However, it wouldn't be entirely surprising that you would defend negative views against liberals.

Your entire post isn't a surprise...Mr Undisclosed, but obvious.

the little racist who cried "nigger". methinks someone is trying to hard.

as with many things, those who tend to see racist behavior in everyone else, also tend themselves to be the biggest racists.

Could be both.

In a few cases I suppose it could be racism, but I think it's safe to say that a majority are doing it based on hyper-partisan views. I've seen people pull the racism card almost every time someone criticizes Obama, whether it's a legitimate criticism or not. It gets old.

Moderator's Warning:
Who is what lean is not relevant to the topic, let's not go there in this thread. We have a section of the board for conversations like that, this is not one of them.

Why don't you ask Dan Rather, he knows. Courage!

No, that is not a fact. Even with the forged document, the securtary made clear the thought was correct. And NYT's made a clear case, to which no one has really disputed.

There was a there there.

I put undisclosed because I have some liberal views and some conservative views. I don't feel it is necessary to allign myself with one side or the other, because both have their faults. Feel free to arrogantly assume all you want.

Edit: Sorry Redress, I didn't see your warning before posting.

you are beginning to sound like a birther. the Bush NG crap was thouroughly debunked and yet you still insist on believing the lie. Ironic isn't it? you are bashing the birthers for doing the same thing you are guilty of.

Not sure I would assume either. Most people aren't all that political, I think, let alone partisan. And I wouldn't connect this to any other criticism. But, to doubt his birth place, dispite the overwhelming evidence, seems different to me.

No, it was never debunked.

Then what makes you assume it's racism? I agree that a lot of people aren't all that political, which is why they fall into foolish notions like this. If these people were more into politics or at least into seeing both sides of the issues and realizing how illogical the Birther movement was, they probably wouldn't be a part of it.

spoken just like a birther. I bet you just hate Bush because he's white.

:lamo :lamo :lamo :lamo :lamo

No, it's just a fact. Nothing ore; nothing less.

I don't assume it is. I never said it was. I said it was a fair question. Nothing more.

well then, the answer to your "fair question" is....no, it's not based on racism. how many freakin people have to tell you that before you accept it? the very fact that you keep arguing the point implies that you do assume it is.

That would be your answer. It may not be someone else's. It doesn't matter to me. It's enough for me to know it is silly.

bull crapolla again. there have been numerous people in this thread tell you the same thing. "it is not based on racism". the fact that you argue against everyone who answers "no", proves that you think it is based on racism.

at least have the freakin guts to be honest about your opinion.

What makes anyone saying it is or it isn't the definitive word?

And no, I have not argued that it is. Not at any point. I only siad it was a fair question. I still say it is.

They were criticisng what he had done. An actual act. So, yes, there is a real difference.

They were making a criticism based on false information. They were eager to believe out of their hatred for Bush.

When Bush was in office, the trufers would have believed anything negative about Bush. The AWOL brew-ha-ha proves it.

and you try desperately to refute anyone who claims it isn't based on racism. that is not being objective. you have an opinion, it is obvious what it is.

It does not matter how many people believe stupid stuff, it lends it absolutely no more credence. Argumentum ad populum is a logical fallacy and as such your argument is of no real merit.

I agree, just because the mob goes one way, it doesn't mean they are right. The 2008 elections was the latest example of that, as the historic correction came in Brown, and the midterms.

The argument has real merit because the proof has not been forthcoming that he is an American born citizen. The Governor of Hawaii has added fuel to that fire, and none other than Mr. Tingle Up His Leg has lamented Obama failing to plug the damn hole.

Spudster... That was a Drudge headline during the magnificent management of the Gulf Oil Spill. Them's wuz Obamer's real live werdz.

.

Nope. I merely address one specific aspect. That it is a fair question. You went off on that, and I've been appeasing you. ;)
