Two points:

1) People in fact did find out a good deal ab out him before they voted for him. AS much as they found out about McCain, and still preferred him to McCain.

2) We know where all the evidence points to him being born. In the absence of any evidence otherwise, there is no "finding out" where he is born. We already have the answer. The subtle birther nonsense like that is still nonsense.

Oh come on... that's utterly laughable.

The journOlists propagandized, protected and softballed this guy to death. I mean what candidate would have gotten away with his speech on race which answered ZERO about his relationship with Wright the racist anti-American? They praised a nothing speech and didn't follow up with hard questions. They swept this guy's monster sized doo-doo's under the rug, and then went after Palin!? For her wardrobe!

He had so many idiotic moments like... no preconditions, spread the wealth around, bitter clingers, raising cap gains. Any other mortal would have been relegated to the defeated candidate category after one of these idiotic remarks. Ask Mondale about Tax and Spend and how that worked. Or ask Democrats how it worked in the midterms after the country got a taste of what "Change" really meant.

Why didn't the press grill him about Ayers? His lame answer of I was 8-years old is an all-time pathetic response, but the press left it at that! Khalidi? ACORN?

Clinton, Biden and Ferraro were right, Obama wasn't qualified, and Clinton's remark, “a few years ago this guy would have been getting us coffee" wasn't far off... and don't try to paint this as racist... the guy was and still is out of his league. He's a political freak, elected because the press didn't do their job.

Evidence points, so how about providing the simple evidence that would settle the matter. He should pony up the docs as Chris Matthews stated. It's not asking too much of "The Uniter" is it?

The good thing is he and every candidate may have to from now on.

The bottom line is that the governor went all in to get the BC and he couldn’t fine one. There isn’t a BC for little Barry. After he announced that he was looking and going to find it no matter what someone spoke to him and not he remembers that it wouldn’t be legal to show it if he had found it, which he didn’t.

I agree that his place of birth is less important than who his father was and where he was educated as a boy. Our founders worried about a boy born to a non citizen being educated aboard and then returning to take the helm of our military. They worried so much that they put it in the Constitution.

Obama is the only one who can show his birth certificate and his academic records but he doesn't have the cahones to do so.
 
This whole obsession by the right wing birthers who simply cannot accept the choice of the American people reminds me of somebody stuck in a Twilight Episode where reality never intrudes upon them.
