China's President Lays Groundwork for Obama Talks

What should Obama do? He should pretend the Chinese are Republicans, and give them the treatment he reserves for conservatives.

In a more serious vein, Obama should play the game of power politics that the Chinese do. The Chinese are duplicitous with us, so we might as well be duplicitous with them.

Obama should shake the overconfidence of the Chinese by using their fears against them. Surprise them. Like when my girl Hillary showed up in Hanoi and announced that the US didn't recognize Chinese claims to the South China Sea. The timing was ****ing perfect. The old girl lowered the boom, and the Chinese were so flabbergasted they pooped themselves.

Talk about their weaknesses. Use Global Warming as a club with which to beat the Chinese. Talk about their pollution. Emphasize their exploitation of African labor. I think it was in Zambia that Chinese mine managers shot striking miners. Give them the stink eye. Play rough.

Right, maybe it won't be the Yuan, maybe the SDR that was created about a year or so ago... or maybe the Bancor that was being discussed, both are essentially just a basket of currencies.

Now, don't get me wrong... I see this as a bad thing, but the reality of the matter is that the Fed is printing the money to cover debts, to the tune of 60 billion a month, so, yes, we are in the days of the beginning of the end of the dollar as world reserve currency.

As it stands right now, the real inflation rate is probably in the area of 20% just because of how much money is being printed.

What I would have Obama do, there's not a chance in the world that Obama would do it.

No, I don't 'blame' Obama... he had alot to cope with from previous presidents passing on the problems to the next guy. (constitutional amendment that the president is responsible for all government debts at the end of his term?)

That's why I was clear that McCain would have done precisely the same, except, we'd be at war with Iran already, I'm sure of it... Had the Glass-Stiegall act not been repealed in 1991, we'd be in MUCH better shape then now....
