libs call people "idiots"without any proof. Bush's IQ is at least as high as JFK's I don't know what Paliin's ranking was. I do know Biden was a cheat and graduated at the bottom of his class-lower than W at Yale

Funny you know everyone's IQ and class ranking but don't have a clue about Palin's. Does anybody know her GPA and class ranking?
 
Every President our nation has ever had has been smart enough to surround himself with even smarter people. Intelligence, as measured by IQ tests and academic performance, is a far less important trait in a Head of State than wisdom and charisma, which can not be measured. Whatever else we might say about President Bush's policies or his ideologies, he was a natural-born leader and he helped this nation take decisive action in a time of national panic. That is worth something.

Why does it matter, Palin doesn't hold office like Biden does? Where is your concern about Biden's IQ as he IS VP? How do you know how smart Obama is, where is his college transcript and what is his IQ? Why the double standards?

There are a lot of book smart street stupid inviduals who are very poor leaders and poor managers. Having a high IQ without any common sense is a dangerous combination.

we dont know what Sham wow did at occidental or columbia (other than he didn't even graduate cum laude and thus got into HLS because of Affirmative Action)
 
and many people noted that Bush was a genius when it came to understanding others which is the sign of very high intelligence

So do we care about IQs or not. At one point there were threads condemning Ivy Leaguers then we go back to praising Yale and Harvard grads..

It reallly seems as we kind of choose and pick whose IQ or class ranking we want to put up in the microscope.

Have always thought it would be hilarious if they made all presidental candidates take a mandatory IQ test and publish the result for America. Granted a high IQ doesn't necessarily mean a good leader

but it sure would make some candidates sweat taking that test.

IQ doesn't impress me at all as I prefer leadership skills and street smarts. Palin did something right in Alaska as she had an approval rating of over 60% most of her term. I like her down to earth common sense style over the intellectual psychobabble of the elite establishment.

That's really quite true. But as evidenced by the list I previously posted, liberals would rather just call any republican that ran for pres or VP in the general (other than Cheney, who is just evil) an idiot. It really helps illustrate that many liberals are mostly about personal attacks. That must be that civility they've been talking about recently.

You liberals who are using this as an opportunity to attack Regan are absolutely pathetic. Most of you are the same ones who have been trying to blame conservatives for the “vitriol” and “hate” that has poisoned the political atmosphere and could have played a part in the recent Tucson tragedy.

When the Honorable and late Senator Ted Kennedy was diagnosed with a brain tumor, conservatives (almost all) were respectful and wished him a speedy recovery. When a loon conservative posted vitriolic comments that connected the tumor to his political positions, conservatives denounced the loon.

Forgive me for yelling but I must:

STOP IT NOW!!!

Argue for or against ideas but leave the hateful and vitriolic rhetoric out of it and stop trying to tear down the Honorable and late President Ronald Regan like this. It would be just as foul and repulsive if it were conservatives who were claiming Senator Ted Kennedy was out of his mind because of the brain tumor and it is disgusting, hateful, vitriolic, divisive, and just plain scummy.
 
Nancy Reagan was the the first female president of the USA. 1984-1988.

If you don't believe me, read some of the interviews from the white house aids. You simply did not do anything without her approval. She basically took up the slack as Ron was becoming overtaken by his illness. She could get his ideas during his better times and enforce them when he wasn't himself. She ran the country for the last three years of his presidency.

If that is the case then we all owe her a huge thank you as the results indicate whoever was President they did one helluva job!
 
You really have to wonder about this so called expose' from Ron Jr. I mean, he never really liked his dad, is ideologically 180 degrees opposite his views, and when compared to his adopted brother Michael intellectually vapid.

Jr. was a huge disappointment to his father, and I for one can only chalk this one up to a classless man that is bitter that he didn't get his fathers attention.

Ron Reagan Jr. is a loser.

The same has been said of Mrs. Woodrow Wilson after her husband's stroke.

Mrs. Reagan is not the conservative her husband was. If this is true, it could explain a few of the more surprising aspects of Reagan's presidency, such as the immigration deal.

Can you name any specific aids who believe she acted as president?

LOL, here we are 23 years after Reagan left office and you along with others still attacking him. Says a lot about how great Ronald Reagan really was. Keep up the attacks as it says a lot about you especially someone who lives in Southern England. Thanks to the strength of this country and the great friendship between the U.S. and England, you aren't speaking German now. I am sure that friendship wasn't built on attacking former U.S. Presidents especially one who understood freedom comes through military strength.
