I'm hearing this more and more and more from Democrats and Independents, from people I know to people on television. Moreso, the complete SILENCE from many is very telling.

Did you watch Bill Maher on AC360 last night? They gave him the podium for a long, painful hour, and he rambled on and on completely incoherently, trying to tie all this tragedy with conservatives, and failing miserably to do so. He actually sounded worse than the sheriff, if that is even possible.

Check out the targeting instructions from the Daily KOS, back in 2008. Liberals didn’t like Gifford all that much. She was and may still be way to moderate. We won’t know which way she will lean for a while but damage to the front of your brain will normally change your way of thinking.

But the Eagles are now 0-for-45 in winning Super Bowls, so there's some pent-up frustration.

Yesterday I heard a portion of one of his statements, about how this is not the nice US anymore that he grew up in. I guess he had his head in the sand when there were lynchings, the civil rights struggle, and throughout the 60's, and then during all the various serial killings.

Yeah, I wonder who he blamed when they tried to kill Ford twice in a few weeks time, then shot Reagan right after he took office. That's not counting the two Kennedys, John Lennon, and George Wallace.

IT, her error was not saying "many liberals of the political and media class". Obviously, she isnt talking about every last ****ing liberal. Yeah... I wonder who... considering Maher was... like 10 when the Kennedy's were killed and would surely have a political opinion on the matter... and I mean ... if we forget Bill Maher wasn't even known in the 1980s... sure... we could all wonder.

I really think liberals find it hard to believe that the right has no desire to silence those on the left.
I guess because they would love to silence Beck, Rush.....Fox news....sad really, because if they get their wish they'll be next. We'll only be able to say and listen to things that are approved of by the government.

I fully expect you to defend the next person that says that conservatives don't like minorities. They obviously don't mean every single conservative and you wouldn't want to play that game. :roll:

I've listened to Rush's show off and on for years and while I have known him to take call from Democrats, he usually will only accept such calls if he can find something about the commentary to put down. Rarely, if ever, will he accept a call from someone who's position not only goes contrary to his point of view, but from anyone who's more factual than he is. Of course, what radio talk show host wants to be shown up by any caller no matter what side of the isle he's from? Of course, he and others like him have to cater to their base. Same goes for Liberal talk show host; but since I don't get Liberal talk radio shows here where I live, I couldn't tell you if they do the same thing in such mean spirited ways.

Maybe someone who does listen to Liberal talk radio jocks can elaborate and/or give their perspective. What I can tell you is of the Conservative talk radio host I've listened to - Rush, Hannity, Levin and Coulter - rarely do they take a call from a Liberal whose point of view they agree with even slightly. But I've come to expect that from them. Again, they're catering to their base. Is their commentary toxic? Let's just say they all tend to edge up to that imaginary line and hide behind free speech to obsolve themselves of being responsible for the level of anxiety they knowingly create. They want their listeners to get upset what what they consider to be wrongful decisions made by the Left even if half of what they report on found to be true.

But again, they're catering to their base. So, to them anything and everything they say is worthwhile as long as they can claim, "I didn't say take matters into your own hands except at the voting booth."

I used to listen to Air America all the time. I would say it was 100 times worse then what I ever witnessed with Limbaugh - who I haven't listened to in a while. Both the anger expressed by the hosts and the calls that they took.
