Arizona Sheriff Blasts Rush Limbaugh for Spewing 'Irresponsible' Vitriol

Its funny when you post things from your own mind and then ask somebody else to justify or prove them.

True believers will often use this tactic to avoid having to think about tbier posts. True believers insteadnof explaining thier position will attack posters for questioning thier dogma.... Often true believers when asked a simple question about a link for example between palin and loughner tbey seem to like to spew.'will imstead duck thier heads in the sand and lretend like they never said it, only to repeat it a few posts later....

It is increasingly difficult to make any sense of what you are intending to attempt to say.

Here is a helpful tip that will prevent this needless back and forth in the future and will add to a more constructive debate for all. If you claim that I have stated something, simply produce my words in a quote. I can then respond to them, as I said them, not as you have interpreted them... not as you understand them ... not as you would pretend they have been written ... not as you imagine they are.

Sheriff Dupnik has committed a Class One Serious Violation of the True Believer Code of Conduct. For that there is only one punishment - the offender must be effectively neutralized so that they can no longer speak the truth to the American people. The truth about the True Believers and their missionary crusade to change America into a right wing paradise must always be protected and those who expose it must be dealt with with every available resource at hand.

What, are you making **** up now? What the hell are you talking about?

The serious crimes of Sheriff Dupnik and why he has become a target for those on the right.

I don't care whether the person broadcasting the message is Republican, Democrat, Tea Partyer, or from some other ideology, it's time we stopped making the attacks so personal and filled with venom. We can debate issues without providing umbrellas for hate and violence. Instead of defending positions which could be misinterpreted as violent and/or hate filled why not make it clear that violence and hate have not place within our system. Just as wrestling as become entertainment for the masses so has much of the radio and television talk shows on the air. It's time to cease and desist. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but not their own facts. Unfortunately, that is the case among many of today's pundits. And those that follow them believe them whatever they say. That makes them dangerous. We, as Americans, have a responsibility to speak out against them regardless of whatever side they may be on. And, for the record, Rush is one who incites considerable rage and anger.

I think he's trying to say that some people lose their mind when they are in front of a camera and he's using the Sheriff as an example.

True believers often talk in circles like you do to avoid in depth conversation, and instead will hide behind pretending not to understand or purporting that others are not understanding what they say because they don't buy into thier cult like expressions..

So the sherriff, is right when he says that right wing rhetoric was the impetus behind the attack on Giffords?

Yes, or no.

The truth about the True Believers and their missionary crusade to change America into a right wing paradise must always be protected and those who expose it must be dealt with with every available resource at hand.

This cult speak is a joke, which makes no sense other than to be mimicked and mocked for the silliness that it is..... You have been warned. :pimpdaddy:

Uhm thats not what haymarket said, what he said, is that the sherrif was right, and that the right must now attack the man for being right, see my above post.

You have shown the board repeatedly that you are hardly the person to challenge anyone for spelling or grammar.

And what is this threatening
You have been warned
garbage?

Are you not aware of the actual term TRUE BELIEVER and its significance of long standing in American political science and sociology? It is a well respected term and you may want to look it up.

True believers, often have trouble with picking up on sarcasm and joking among two friends over the over the top hyperbole of the true believer.

It has already begun.

I am aware of Eric Hoffer, and the irony of you calling anyone a "true believer"....

Megyn Kelly Debates Arizona Sheriff | Political Rhetoric | Mediaite

sheriff dupnik: there are a whole lot of people in this country that are very angry at the politics of people like gabrielle, there were a lot of vitriolic statements made nite and day on radio and tv about her support of health care, about her support of the other things, and some of the vitriol got very, very, a lot of people agitated

megyn kelly: i just want to ask you whether there's anything you uncovered in your investigation so far that suggests this suspected killer was listening to radio or watching television and in any way inspired by what he heard or saw

dupnik: well, i know that there has been some contact with gabby giffords in the past, we have, as a matter of fact, a letter that was dated in 2007, i don't know what prompted that particular letter but she had agreed and invited him to some event back in 2007, so there is some history

kelly: do you have reason to believe that this suspected killer was taking in information or was in any way influenced by the vitriol or the rhetoric that you're referring to

dupnik: if your question is specific i have to be specific and say i don't have that information yet, this investigation is in its very initial phases, but my belief, and i've been watching what's been going on in this country for the last 75 years, and i've been a police officer for over 50 years, there's no doubt in my mind that when a number of people nite and day try to inflame the public that there's going to be some consequences from doing that, and i think it's irresponsible to do that

kelly: is that, sheriff, it sounds like you're being very honest that that's just your speculation and it's not anything that's fact based at this point

dupnik: that, that, that's my opinion, period

kelly: some people question whether that is something you should be sharing now because tempers are already inflamed, people are upset about what's happening, the grieving families are still mourning, the bodies have yet to be buried, is it the time really to be injecting speculative opinion like that into this case by somebody like yourself, the sheriff

dupnik: well, i think difference of opinion is what makes the world go round and round, there's no doubt in my mind that there are consequences to this kind of behavior, when people, allegedly credible people, who get up in front of cameras and microphones and say things that are not true and try to inflame the public, when millions of dollars are filtered into this country to buy very vitriolic ads and they don't have to be identified, the countries that they're coming from or the people who are donating them...

you find fully half of american political discourse irresponsible, sheriff dupnik?

exactly, sir, what is it YOUR job to be doing, here, today, in tucson?

what are YOUR professional responsibilites, mr sheriff, as lead INVESTIGATOR of this CRIME?

go after the CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, now?

remember when axelrod in october went on cbs' face the nation and schieffer asked him what evidence he had to back up his ACCUSATION that foreign money was influencing our elections?

and the ax answered, "do you have any evidence that it's not, bob?"

Axelrod Hits Out at Foreign Money in Elections - Face The Nation - CBS News

the sheriff and the white house sure do think alike

justice in obama's america---who needs evidence when you're so convinced that the accusations you so desperately WANT to be true are?

simply by virtue of your intense emotional antipathies

this story aint goin away, folks, it's now part of the RECORD

and the utterly empty accusations of essentially CONSPIRACY TO MURDER leveled by law enforcement and much of the msm against the leaders of my particular stripe were very, very significant, substantial and extremely HI PROFILE

ie, everyone saw

sorry

I would greatly appreciate it if you would refrain from making threats against me. From someone who has the power of a MOD on this board, your threat is twice as disturbing.

A platitude is a trite, meaningless, biased, or prosaic statement, often presented as if it were significant and original. The word derives from plat, the French word for "flat." Whether any given statement is considered to have meaning is highly subjective, so platitude is often—but not always—used as a pejorative term to describe seemingly profound statements that a certain person views as unoriginal or shallow. An example of a platitude could be "go with the flow" or "a rule is a rule.

1. not a mod.

2. I made no threat, just informed you that your 'true believer' nonsense, will be exposed and mocked for the ironic fraud that it is.

Please, address the points of the topic I made above. and please stop with the empty platitudes.

Y'know, I don't care whether people like Rush or not, it's just annoying when you can tell by their comments that they've never even listened to him.

“They say it's a government takeover of health care, a big lie just like Goebbels," Cohen said. "You say it enough, you repeat the lie, you repeat the lie, and eventually, people believe it. Like blood libel. That's the same kind of thing."

“You know, even though we know that this young man is just deranged in some way, there’s the side that drove him to that act, with the kind of vitriol, the kind of nasty, just villainous violence that is happening. The violence that happened even during, you know, town hall meetings…during the healthcare crisis, the healthcare debate and everything, all this kind of violence.”

I can't think of a bigger hypocrite...well...maybe Jimmy Carter.

You knew it was coming, didn't you? The lefties are coming out in droves now, probably we'll have anti-gun nuts all over now.

I bet the dumb ass doesn't even listen to Rush Limbaugh. Most likely he goes to media matters or listens to some other idiot who claims Limbaugh is some fat racist idiot hate monger.
