What, give him a quick death, instead of locking him in a cell, in solitary confinement, until he rots away? And I thought you wanted him to suffer.

Right. This jerk could well live sixty years or more courtesy of the state. How many millions will that cost that could be better used elsewhere? Give him a fair trial with a first class attorney. If he is found guilty, give him an immediate appeal. Then let justice be carried out swiftly.

What makes this country great is we have a system of laws and safeguards. I would rather not let some asshole like this cause us to forget what makes this country great.

And as I said if you google the passage it leads you to other people who have shared the video, which has had what? 200-300 views when I've seen it.
All are in their 20's and from Tucson.

They're saying now that there was an exchange of fire, and thus who's killed from whose shots is still unknown.
 
I am outraged that it took 20 min for the sherriff to arrive and 30 for the EMTs. Can anyone explain that to e?

What a terrible tragedy. My heart goes out to all the families, but especially the nine year olds parents. Such a shame a life was cut so short.

A public event is chaotic enough, I can only imagine how much worse it would be given there was a shooting. However even all of that 20 and 30 minutes are far too long.

By government officials, do you mean ELECTED officials or everyone on a government pay check?
 
This is just terrible, I heard it on CNN at work today during my sift at the airport. From, reading his you tube comment, I would say he is a ****ed up individual who is more of a conspiracy nut job than someone that has any mere political motivations. I think he would have shot anyone no matter who they. As for the child that was murder in cold blood I hope he rest in peace, and the ****er who killed him rots in hell if their truly is a hell.

I think (and of course, we are armchair quarterbacking this) it would have been wise to have had police and/or armed security present since a Congresswoman was out in public. I've never seen an elected US official speak publicly without a police presence myself.

Doesn't seem we need to worry if we have right guy, here. It's not like he'll be exonerated after he's executed. No reason to let him linger on our taxes.
