Hooah! When I was a squad leader/platoon sgt. I held the belief that privates go out of their way to be more immature than you can possibly imagine.

The fact of the matter is, when dealing with the military, do we really want someone with the lack of judgement that would put something like this out...and if your answer is yes, then I would suggest that we need higher standards in our military.

I would argue with this a little. I think they are more mature...when they really have to be. The cost of that is when they don't have to be, they unwind all the way down to full on juvenile stage.

"When they have to be", being the operative part of that statement. The purpose of adult supervision, is to inform them of, "when they have to be". Alot of times, junior enlisted men can't recognize, on their own, when that moment is upon them.
 
I have to agree with a few others on here that the greatest problem is that the officers are clowns. This is one of the greatest issues I see facing the future of our nation. The deformalization of how we act. People in places of authority and in general are becoming lax in professional behavior and conduct. It seems everything is becoming a joke in this country.

What a crock of crap this is........This incident happened years ago.....It probabbly came out as a result of the repeal of DADT....When will the left and Liberals get tired of beating up our military? Its truly unbelieveable..........

Who is the one "beating up our military" and the ones who are weeding out the crap in order to stengthen it.......Thank God that the men/women of our military don't have to deal with such immature BS.
