A rich dude escaping prosecution by paying off the Anti-Corruption police. Because I garuntee you that's what happened. Fines excluded.

Well **** me sideways, THIS NEVER HAPPENS!

Certainly not in a stable and prosperous place such as Africa (I'm from there, I know :))

Fair point, What to distrust more, Nigerian justice or Dick Cheney, now theres a connundrum....

If I was in one or the others custody, I can tell you at least Dick would let me go eventually :2razz:

He might still pay for his crimes in the next life...

Dick Cheney is probably the single most evil person I know of in the world today. His greed and thirst for power genuinely scare me. If there was ever a wealthy elitist who just sees us all as peasants to be fleeced, it's Cheney. I'll be a lot more comfortable when he's not in the world anymore.

Nigeria's anti-corruption police have dropped charges against Dick Cheney, the former US vice-president, over a multi-million dollar bribery case after the energy firm Halliburton agreed to pay up to $250m (£161m) in fines.......

Corruption in Africa
Well I never!

This happens in the West no doubt, it is just hidden. At least Africa doesn't hide or deny it :lamo

This wasn't anything but a scam, anyway. What was Nigeria going to do, put a former vice president of the United States in prison? Right, like that's gonna happen. That's a idiotic as the mayor of London arresting Bush.

I am now waiting for Haliburton to ask Nigeria to first wire a ten million dollar transfer fee to them, then never send the 250 million. Meanwhile, Haliburton asks Nigeria for all it's bank account numbers, so they "will know where to send the money". Then Haliburton clears all the money out of all the accounts. Yea, it would suck, but it would be poetic justice for Nigeria. LMAO.

That's overdoing it a bit mate, there are a lot of bad people out there.

Because now leaders are immune from prosecution. If you wanted a former government leader of Nigeria you'd be going insane. But the US owns the world, so it's not a big issue for Nigeria to do this to us. After all, you could wipe them off the map with your military spending that's about 48% of the entire world's military budget.

I swear I've had enough of this BS.
