Emanuel tax paperwork complicates residency case - Chicago Tribune

In his original 2009 Illinois tax return, Emanuel checked the box "part-year resident" and noted he lived in Chicago through June 30, 2009. The amended return is dated Nov. 24 of this year, the same day the first formal objections against Emanuel were filed with city elections officials.

In addition, on the amended return Emanuel listed the Milwaukee Avenue address of the condominium where he currently resides — not the Ravenswood home his family owns that is occupied by a renter who declined to end his lease early when Emanuel returned from Washington.

How funny would it be if he gave up his gig as White House COS to run for mayor in Chicago, only to find he's not eligible?

Personally, I find the possibility hilarious!!!!!!!
