You know, neither the Republicans nor the Democrats are doing the right thing here. None of them have the intestinal fortitude to do the right thing, which is to let the tax cuts expire AND let the unemployment benefits also expire. Want to balance the budget? Do you really? Then steps must be taken, and some of those steps are going to deal out a little hurt to everybody. But IF you are really serious about getting the deficit under control, it is going to have to be done. You just won't see any of our politicians on board, though, because they are cowards.
nonsense, the majority of mature consideration in this country, hard as it may be for you to get your head around, sincerely really does believe that raising taxes in the midst of a recession is economic suicide
when you're in the pits, like we are, the first thing you have to do is get growth, without expansion you've got no chance, no hope
extending the bush tax cuts---now---IS the right thing to do
even obama was forced to concede it
if obama and mcconnell and boehner agree, then how can anyone on the outside be considered anything less than a fringe
try to get outside your own little box
