Amazing how some people say we should move away from punishment and only focus on reform. What punishment? Would you send a kid to his room as punishment if he has a tv,video games, phone, computer and other things in his room? Hell no you would not send that child to his room as punishment. You have him do extra chores, or remove all those things from his room or at least cut the electricity off to his room first. Why should the prison system be any different? Remove those tvs, libraries, computer access, weight rooms and other LUXURIES.

Chicago News Report: Justin Walker: Convicted Oklahoma Cop Killer's Facebook Pics Depict the Good Life Behind Bars

What if I told you an inmate was casually posting pictures on Facebook? Okay. Chew on that for a minute. Now... what if I told you he is posting those pictures with a phone most of us honest, hard-working citizens can barely afford?

In light of the recent murders of Chicago police officers Michael Flisk and David Blake, this next story will leave you wondering how many convicted murderers, rapists, and thieves are playing on Facebook - while they're supposed to be doing "hard time".

Despite serving a 30-year prison term for murdering Dwight Woodrell, Jr., a Pawnee County, Oklahoma Sheriff, Justin Walker is living the good life behind bars.

Facebook photos show the convicted murderer chillin' while smoking a bong, happily posing with other heavily tattooed gang members, and licking a shank.

Oh, did I mention his pictures are uploaded via a Blackberry?

Well I'm sure with things like this coming out, there will be a bit more scrutiny. Still, some things will get through. In the end, I don't know if you can call prison "the good life". I mean, I may have to work harder than those jerks in jail; but I'm on the outside. On Sat I can sleep in and watch Dragonball Z, or I can ride my motorcycle, I can not get my hair cut still, play WoW or my XBox or my PS3 or my Wii. What the **** can those assholes do. Fine, let them get high and lick knifes (well that last one probably not...should probably try to keep weapons down). End of the day...they're still in jail.

Please explain to me again why a cop-killer who manages to post pics to Facebook from prison means we should punish Willie Nelson more harshly for having a bunch of marijuana joints.

Also, I'd really like to know how this cop-killer managed to get his hands on a Blackberry while in prison. I'll bet $10 to charity that it had more to do with corrupt prison guards than to a reform-based prison system.

This is why I in favor of a new Federal Law that says all murders of Police Officers, women, children, or multiple victims fall under Federal control for prosecution and the penalty is a mandatory death penalty and one appeal is permitted and must be made within two hours of conviction and when denied the guilty son of a bitch is taken from the Court House to a place of execution where at sunrise the next morning the convict is hanged by the neck until dead.

Then we would have a deterrent.

What do you say for cops who kill unarmed citizens?

That does look like the good life. I think I'm going to go to prison.

So much for the Constitution I guess.

What does some hippy country singer have to do with with this?

Knives, Vodka, Blackberries, weed, internet access, and bongs. If I ever go to prison... Send me there!

You said prison sentences to all prisoners should be harsher because this cop-killer got a Blackberry and posted pics to FB through it. So please explain to me why some elderly hippy country singer caught with a bunch of joints should face harsher punishments because of a cop-killer got a Blackberry and posted pics to FB through it?

Again it has nothing to do with some hippy junkie country singer who out of his own free will tried to sneak drugs.
The idea of prison to punish inmates, not give them the same luxuries they have on the outside of prison. The scariest or worst thing about prison should not be gay sex and stabbings.

If you wish to discuss some hippy junky country singer getting caught for trying to sneak in drugs then please do so in another thread. Do not hijack this one for your oh waa boo hoo poor dirty hippy got caught with drugs waaa the world is unfair! bull ****.
