So much for American oil production. Seems Obama is making sure his friends in Saudia Arabia are staying rich on American oil sales

Post Carbon - Salazar: Offshore oil drilling ban to be maintained in key areas

Interior Secretary Ken Salazar announced Wednesday afternoon that the Obama administration will not allow offshore oil drilling in the eastern Gulf of Mexico or off the Atlantic and Pacific coasts as part of the next five-year drilling plan, reversing two key policy changes President Obama announced in late March.

The left has stymied the right. So conservatives must stymie the left. We must make sure that none of their renewable and alternative energy ideas lives or receives tax subsidies.

It is better to pay a fortune to foreign dictators for fuel than to permit the American left to succeed.

Meanwhile, several other countries drill there anyway. What a douche.

Obama seems bent that we're all going to buy one of his Volt cars. You know, the "Car of the Year" that about 8 people bought.

China is drilling in the Caribbean. Haha.

America is hollow, and means less and less each day.

Certainly much better to pay a fortune to foreign dictators, vice putting American oilfield hands to work and putting money into local economies.

Those Americans aren't going to be allowed to drill and work any more than other Americans were allowed to harvest timber or fish. Environmentalists will prevent Americans from doing things which harm animal habitat.

So environmentalists have stymied working Americans. So I'm happy to return the favor by sandbagging environmentalists who want tax subsidies for their pet energy projects.

If working Americans can't drill, then environmentalists don't get to pursue renewable and alternative energy on a tax subsidized basis. I have no problem with importing crude oil from foreign dictators as long as American leftists are prevented from accomplishing their objectives.
