Congressman wants WikiLeaks listed as terrorist group

Oh I see, so if the MSM doesn't report it, it doesn't happen....I see.

What I meant by that was if someone was killed due the Wikileaks (at least someone that mattered to the US gov) it would be all over and the US gov would use the chance to destroy Wikileaks. Though I doubt anyone will get hurt due to the fact that Wikileaks redacts the names of informants

Are you suggesting that we should prosecute someone for something that might have happened, rather than actually gathering evidence?

Our Government thinks so.

Beautiful....Thanks Jullian!

It sounds like they're looking into it, i.e. gathering information. Not that they're saying as you've claimed is happening. Of course they'll have to investigate to make sure, you don't want to just assume on this point. However, you can't really say one way or the other without evidence; and evidence is what we don't have at this point.

Well, on that I agree....It is interesting though, to see all the knee jerk defenses....

Well I'm much more inclined to defend against censorship and for government criticism. So I'd let it continue less you could prove actual harm.

There has been harm IMHO, and it doesn't have to be confined to personal injury. The harm is in the trust arena as well. Look, I can see the allure of sticking it to the man.....It's a great story. But, There really is the potential that a malcontent like Assange does more harm than any good that would arise.

His possible association with Soros is troubling as well.

Well if you can prove it, that'd be one thing. But currently it's only conjecture. I'd rather err on the side of rights and liberty than on the side of authority.

I am not saying not to, all I am saying is that we can not exist in a total open society. Not as a nation anyway.
