Palin fires back on Facebook with list of Obama gaffes

People make mistakes. No biggie. Or is she just a bit of an airhead?
You decide.
For me this fits right in with the rest of what I heard from her. BUT it doesnt mean she is a moron. Just a bit absent-minded at times.

She cited that people make human mistakes and really didn't blow up Obama's gaffs. She used them as an example of people's mistakes and put her mistake into context. The media has been shouting her North Korea gaff out of context in order to attack Palin, yet they ignore Obama's gaffs. Her point was that humans make gaffs, and that the media is unfairly attacking her.

What other politicians have wallowed in their gaffes in this manner? Politicians usually just acknowledge their gaffes and move on.

What kind of person continues to support the incompetence of a President who lacked the experience for the job and is in over his head as the results show?

Confused.....aren't you the one that continues to sing the praises of GWB?

What other politicians have been dishonestly attacked in this matter? I think what she did was good. What's wrong with defending oneself when the truth is contorted and ignored?

Why would you want another 4 years of Obama? Anyone including Sarah Palin will do better than this leftwing empty suit. the results don't seem to matter to you and the question is why?

Question....Conservative....did you vote for GWB twice?

IIRC, the economy hit the fan before he was elected.

Why do you buy anything this administration tells you. Here is what NBER says about the recession.

Last Four Recessions and their Durations
12/07 - 6/09 18 months
3/01 - 11/01 8 months
7/90 - 3/91 8 months
7/81 - 11/82 16 months

In order for the recession to be ending the economy has to be growing and it was growing in June 2009. Obama had 4 months of a recession so can you explain to me why unemployment in 2010 is higher than it was in 2009 and why he has lost 4 million jobs in less than 2 years?

Employment, Hours, and Earnings from the Current Employment Statistics survey (National)

Compare that record to Reagan, Clinton, GW Bush and you lose. Why are you defending this guy?

Question....Conservative....did you vote for GWB twice?

Yes, proudly. I do understand that actual results don't matter to you but here they are. I voted wisely and the results show I made the right choice.

Confused.....aren't you the one that continues to sing the praises of GWB?

Why? because results trump rhetoric and I always verify the rhetoric with the results and when I do that with Bush I see 4.5 trillion added to the GDP, 8.5 million jobs created, and 53 straight months of job creation and economic growth. I have yet to find Obama to tell the truth on any issue.

The thing is that Palin wants to be taken seriously as a candidate for office. The problem is when she opens her mouth, out comes idiocy and displays of massive ignorance. Furthermore the reverance many people have for Palin magnifies every ****up she produces. And unlike other candidates, who actually listen and follow their handlers, Palin goes rouge, ****s up and then blames someone else. The Media loves a train wreck and what's better then a former VP candidate making dumb **** statements while pondering a campaign for President in 2012?

And this speaks to my point how, exactly? And for that matter, how does it do anything but bolster HER point? She's apparently seeking the office. Obama's already in it, which makes HIS gaffes a bit more pressing of an issue.

None whatsoever. Palin is unduly attacked more than any other politician .Ever.
It's just not fair. QQ

I believe in freedom of speech and it's the media's right to illogically bash Palin. I just don't see anything wrong with her bringing truth to her gaff and defending herself from dishonest attacks.

Are you unable to debate w/o bringing your imaginary version of me into it? Aren't the issues enough?

Okay, so I was wrong. It started after he was elected and before he took office. Perhaps the groundwork for the recession was laid before he was elected. Or perhaps it automagically started that Nov due to Obama's powers of economic voodoo.

Why are you defending this guy?
I am not. I am just calling bull**** on your assertion.

Name a politician who has ever had the likes of media matters watching and waiting for her to make a so called Gaffe, so they can spread it all over?
Everyone does make gaffes as she has shown. However, they seldom make the news. Hers always do, even if they are false or taken out of context.

She's not defending herself. She's highlighting it and wallowing in it. Defending herself implies limiting the damage. Limiting the damage is merely saying, "Oops. I mis-spoke." Who hasn't? But a snarky Facebook post is relishing the drama.
She's free to do so and has every right to do so. But it is what it is.

Sorry, but saying OOPs I mis-spoke would seldom work when it's Palin. The media would say " Palin thinks North Korea is an alli" How would she be with foreign affairs, she doesn't know what an alli is. People still think she said she could see Russia from her house.
Personally I hope she gets out there more and more and beats up on the media. She doesn't need to take their ***** the way she does.

Did you read the dates of the recession that I posted. He was elected in Nov. 2008 and took office in January 2009. The recession began in December 2007 and ended in June 2009 so he only had 4 months of a recession but he convinced his followers how evil Bush was and that it was all Bush's fault. Logic and common sense plus a little civics education easily dispels his rhetoric. No President can do anything without Congress and Congress was under control of the Democrats from January 2007 to the Present. Saul Alinsky teaches his followers to never let a good crisis go to waste and that is what Obama and his Administration have done, convince good people that we were in a crisis so that he could radically change this country.

All I am trying to do is get people to think. The easiest way to shut up an Obama supporter is to confuse them with facts. Have you seen anyone refute the data I post?

I realize this thread is about Palin and based upon the facts I would take her in a heartbeat over Obama because at least I know I am going to get a true conservative who have similar values to the majority in this country. That is why she has to be destroyed by liberals.

You mission should decide to accept it, is to show where Media Matters has taken Sarah Palin to task for her North Korea gaffe.

(As always, should you or any of your IM Force be caught or killed, the Secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions. ;) )

Ever dawn on you, that some people might like that about her? Handlers? Poohie!:fart

:2dancing:

To think that just moments ago someone was trying to tell me that '95% of all attacks are from the left'

It's about time she fired back. I hope she keeps it up. However, she only put some gaffes of Obama on her facebook page. It's everyone else reporting on it.
By the way, did you check out all the hateful, ugly comments about her in that link?
Yes 95% is a good estimation.

You have to be ****ing kidding me. How many times have I hear the "57 states" gaffe? Do a quick google and you'll get 28 million hits.

And FWIW, I don't give a rat's behind about Palin's latest brain fart, nor any of Obama's or Biden's. Besides a possible chuckle, I get nothing else out of it. People misspeak all of the time and it's not a reflection of their intelligence.

Yep, this.

Palin is an idiot, but it's not because of this.
