At NATO summit, Obama's ride is talk of the town

Practice what you preach? Certainly not....:lamo

If you want to accuse someone of something, in this case you have to accuse the Secret Service. They will not let the President ride around in any random vehicle.

Of course, if Obama had ordered the Secret Service to supply him with a low-emission vehicle, and they spent the $500,000 it would cost to acquire a vehicle that met the security standards required of such a vehicle, conservatives would no doubt complain about the expenditure (after they falsely claimed that it cost 40 times more than it actually cost).

Let me quote your source from the very top of the page you link to:

Security dictates that Obama travel in the no-efficiency 'Beast,' a vehicle that fascinates the local press.

I went so far as to help you out by putting two very important words in bold for you. It's not that Obama wants to use a fuel inefficient vehicle, it's that security requires that he does so.

I think you all on the right should go back to whining a bout birth certificates, Michelle's shoes, and teleprompters and other such important issues.

Lets not forget the contradictory aspects of Obama being a muslim and a black liberation christian

let's not forget nyt: obama's economic views rejected on world stage

globe: g20 refuses to back us push on chinese currency

natl journal: obama's rodney dangerfield moment

cfr: amateur hour at the white house

der spiegel: nice guy act gets him nowhere on world stage

guardian: copenhagen ends in failure

are they all righties, are they whining?

or could it possibly be they're telling the truth?

who's spinning?

who needs to wake up?

Don't burst a blood vessel there Red, I was only pointing out the perception of arrogance of our dear leader in Lisbon, that while the rest of delegations tool around in Nissan leaf's, and maybe even Chevy volt's our Prez is in a diesel powered behemoth because he is soooooo important that he can't chance anything. Yet he will stand on the world stage, and berate, and chastise his own countrymen for using too much power....."We can't keep our thermostats at 72 degrees, we can't drive our SUV's"..... What a hypocritical clown.

Nobody cares about this amateur attraction anymore Red, other than to poke sarcastic fun at how they turn down his every request lately....Obama is making America a joke.

Eh, not really worse than what you yourself may or may not have constantly whined about during the eight years Bush was in is it? See, I think you all should remember the vile, vitriolic things you hurled like petulant children the entire time he was in, and then do some real introspect, you know, taking stock of your own hypocritical nature, and shut it. But that's just me.

Generally yes,

I think more people would like to kill the president of the US then the President of France

Not in Europe. It's not that they like Obama, or that they hate Sarkozy -- it's just that the last time a political leader was assassinated in Western Europe was 1914, Sarajevo, which could barely even be called Western Europe then, and certainly not now.

Europe's a safe place, and Obama is in bad form by not abiding by his own plea towards energy efficiency.

:lamo 2016? Are you for real? You Obama kool aid drinkers will be lucky to fend off a primary challenge in 2012 within your own party.....2016.....pfft. :lamo

Oh, thats right. Palin is going to be the Republican nominee in 2012, and beat the crap out of Obama, right? Hate to break it to you, but Palin is even more of an idiot than Obama is.
